And not just our opinions. However, I know for a fact that Miraheze is okay with them.

I don't have the... anything to watch a 22-minute, sound-required video about a website.

Basically, Fandom wikis have been overrun by ads and otherwise ruined by the management prioritizing profit and control over community experience and autonomy. Notably, there was an incident where the McDonalds wiki was turned into a giant ad for the Grimace shake, without the prior knowledge or consent of the wiki's admins.
That Fandom sucks now isn't news, exactly, but people are fed up enough that several large wikis (including the Minecraft wiki) have left the platform, and it seems more are likely to follow. Fandom doesn't make it super-easy to fork a wiki, naturally, but it is possible, and there are options, with more starting to appear.

After they took offense to some of the Wiki pages for... basically absurd reasons, if I recall correctly.
I use a rather heavy-duty adblocker (uBlock Origin) and have been using an adblocker for ages (nothing like having to format your PC due to a pop-up ad infecting your PC with a nasty virus without even clicking it to make you decide you're done with ads) so I didn't notice, but I was indeed put off with many of the accessory things like the sidebar and their social thing.
I did just ignore the stuff I didn't care about, but I tried visiting the Wiki from the phone (which I never do since I tend to do stuff mostly from my computer) and... Damn. It's ridicolous. This is not how I want information about my characters to be stored.
(Fandom doesn't see to like information about my characters either, since when I started making a wiki for mi works they eventually nuked it without warning and without even telling me they did, so it seems the hate i mutual here.)
Considering they seem to be still going down the slippery slope, I wouldn't mind looking for an alternative - and, of course, to prevent the issue of duplicated wikis I would suggest "withering" the Fandom one once the jump is made by slowly deleting pages if we haven't got the possibility to fully nuke it.
I like your thought on "withering" the Fandom wiki if we can't delete it outright. I've expanded on that a bit in my reply to Yuki's thread above.

Here are some other alternatives.

Our wiki might qualify as a reception wiki, which is not allowed on an awful lot of wiki farms.
While the "basis" for a PPC mission is a badfic to be sporked, the wiki is about the PPC universe - about our stories, and the shared universe they place in and its worldbuilding.
Worst case scenario we have to avoid making pages about specific badfics, Suvians and their respective authors - but that's something we're in the process of nuking because Fanfom also frowns on that.
And not just our opinions. However, I know for a fact that Miraheze is okay with them.

https://telepedia.net/wiki/ allows for eye-catching visuals too.
I officially cast a vote to move the PPC Wiki to another site. This is something that I've seriously considered proposing ever since that incident when many pages were cut.
