I've been studying linguistics in my spare time, and I had the idea of trying to come up with a language history of Glome from the earliest reconstructable proto-language through the present day.
The canonical masculine suffixes are -in, -ia, and -om. The canonical feminine suffixes are -it, -ra, and -al. Whether this means three separate declensions, or fewer declensions with singulars and plurals (and maybe even a dual number), is not given. The neighboring kingdom of Essur also uses the -al suffix, as seen in the name Talapal.
As for where: Glome has mountains, and was in the Greek sphere of influence but not part of any of the Greek empires. That gives it a wide range of possibilities.
And how do I make sure FFN will recognize all the symbols? I figure most people's computers can display the Greek and Cyrillic alphabets, but some of the special characters needed for the IPA can get turned into boxes or question marks.
Lastly but most importantly, does FFN allow fictional articles?
