We might be getting a new Zelda TV show! Hopefully they'll be able to make the weirder aspects like Cuccos and the hookshot work right.
Thoughts? Squeals of delight? Gratuitous references to the original cartoon? -

Now that I think about it, the Gorons and Zoras (if they show up) would be a lot harder to get right.

I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand, Netflix has yet to disappoint on their new original series. On the other hand, the original cartoon's reputation will be quite difficult to overcome. This has a lot of potential, though - the article compared it to a family-friendly Game of Thrones, so perhaps we will get a glimpse of how Hylian politics truly work. Also, I'm sad that the show has already lost a potential big name: Robin Williams. He was one of the biggest fans of LoZ in existence, and something like this would have been right up his alley. His daughter Zelda shared his love of the series, so perhaps she'll have some input after all - from what I've heard, the both of them talked about potential roles with Nintendo frequently. Robin was the go-to guy to play Professor Oak if needed, for example.

I guess I'll have to get started on the games at long last, won't I? If this is going to be a thing, we're going to see a fanfic explosion, I'll bet. But still, it sounds cool (hopefully better than what I heard the cartoon was like).
...drat, I bet Randa went ahead and deleted my save file on her Ocarina of Time game. Off to find myself a copy! ...and then I'll have to finish my copy of Twilight Princess, and play Wind Waker, and borrow Darkotas' copy of Skyward Sword... This is going to take a while, isn't it?
(Also, dangit, Skarmory, you beat me to it!) -
Hey, at least, it can't be worse than the first one. by

... NO, WAIT! That's not what I-- It's too late, isn't it? sigh!
Seriously, though, I think it's going to be decent, at the very least. Netflix usually makes good series, and since they're actually working with Nintendo, they probably won't make the same mistakes as the original show. -

In all seriousness, though, I'm a bit skeptical myself - but if this turns out to be true, and more importantly if they do it well, my armor bird screech of ecstasy will probably be heard for miles. Especially if Nintendo is helping to produce it, because that way you can be sure they'll be faithful to the franchise.
For my taste, I personally think it would be fun to see something like this introduce brand-spanking new characters, like they did with Lana from Hyrule Warriors.
