Happy anniversary! This last year has definitely changed you. Now I can torture you with only two words! I have also seen your writing skills develop and had a good laugh with you about your old fanfic. I wish you the best of times.
That's right, I've finally hit the one-year mark. Ah, memories. I totally didn't realize how things worked, tried to introduce myself on another newbie's thread, and somehow ended up using my email as my first username. Whoops. I overthought everything I typed, anxiously quintuple-checked all my posts for a dreaded typo, and thought the oldbies were kind of like those celebrities who everyone talks and knows about, but never come out of their refuges except to call out the newbies.
Yup, definitely didn't realize that this place is full of some of the kindest, most intelligent, generous, creative, and passionate people I ever had the pleasure of knowing.
It's hard to believe how little time it seems like, but like the saying goes: Time flies when you're having fun, and I can't imagine a more fun place to be.
So, to all my friends- and I hope it's not presumptuous to say I consider everyone here a friend- thank you for making this last year the best of my life. Here's to many more! *pops open champagne*

I'm working on a DMS mission in Treasure Planet, and boy is it a doozy. Horrible formatting, minis running rampant, and one heck of a Sue. It'll be good to get back into the swing of things PPC-wise. I've missed it. My brain's also been half-eaten by a sequel to a fanfic, so there's that as well. I'm over 10,000 words in and I've got a while to go yet.

To everyone else: this kid laughed when I read him C*l*b*i*n. Laughed. Make of that what you will.
I am not even kidding, the descriptions were just so bad, I could not help but laugh at them. Not quite "My Immortal" unintentional hilarity, but close. Then again, I don't know LoTR all to well, so perhaps I am missing some of the horror that is supposed to be there.
...Now, 120 Days of Blueblood, on the other hand...
Just ask my parents... all the laughter when I was reading through them. They, however, were not amused.
Mainly because I kept disturbing dinner with excerpts of "My Immortal" and other such things.
One whole year. You know, I think I have technically been on this board for two, maybe three years. To be honest, I lost track of time.
I am certainly glad that you decided to stay on this board. Things would be a lot more boring without you around.
...Now about that crossover mission. I know, I disappear for several months, and I complain about you not being on in four days.`Still, I'm waiting for you to write the next part of the mission. Take your time, just, you know, letting you know.
Now, enough business talk. Celebration time!
I just kind of got on a roll with My Inner Life (I'm finishing it up now as a matter of fact!) and got distracted. I'll post some more later, how's that sound?
