Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that my internet is very limited right now, which is why I'm behind on replies and newbie-greetings...I'll be more active again once it starts working again.
(I'm mainly just posting this so you know that I didn't just join and then disappear because I'm really having a lot of fun on this board and this probably wasn't necessary at all and I'm just going to go now bye)
'See' you when my internet comes back--

(At least, I think it's sister. Hard to tell which to use, with me being one of the few brothers of the PPC...)
I'm having the exact same problem, so don't sweat it. Just come in when you can, nobody's judging you.
...Much...
Hm. You know, sometimes I think we should all introduce ourselves by our names and genders, just to avoid misunderstandings--I, for instance, spent several years thinking that Tawaki was female (I was reading sporkings, not missions). Imagine my surprise last week when I found out he was male! (...sorry that took so long, Tawaki...)
It's a pretty common problem, I think, judging from past experience on various online forums (RL interfering, that is). Hopefully I'll have my internet back soon...
Gee, thanks. How about I judge you a little, and you judge me a little, and the judging will cancel itself out somehow? :)

I was communicating with someone on fanfiction.net that I thought was a girl (I always assume female on ff.net because most fanfiction writers are female) We'd have these long PM conversations about Star Trek and other fandoms we shared, and somehow it never came up until I misunderstood something he said and I said that to avoid confusion, I used emoticons. His response to that was something to the effect of "I'm a guy. I don't use emoticons." I stared at the screen in shock for maybe a full minute, then went back and went through all our converstions to make sure I hadn't said anything awkward. Thankfully, I hadn't.
So, yeah.
I read through one of the missions by Mittens and RMC (Specifically, "The Making of a Queen") believing Mittens was a female for a while. ("Mittens" just sounds feminine to me.)

Thanks :) I'm just having a lot of fun being a PPCer (never thought I'd be one, really, I didn't realize it was still so active), so I wanted to explain my sudden absence...but that's me. I like to talk and communicate and all that fun stuff.
...and I may or may not be jumping around all the PPC stuff (stuff being the board, wiki, missions, and what-have-you) like it's the shiniest shiny thing I've ever seen. Maybe. Depending on how dignified you think I am.
But seriously, this is very exciting. Very, very, very exciting. For many reasons that I won't mention right now due to being currently babble-prone and sugar-filled.
