I used the "Tough Guide to Fantasyland" as a reference. But it's through an actual publisher and not self published. McFarland is a well known small press academic publisher.
But it is much more analytical, if at times a bit tongue and cheek. My sense of humor can not be contained.
So, fellow PPC'rs a few months ago I mentioned that I had a book that the original germ of came from doing things like the PPC.

Initially seeing it my brain went to Diana Wynne Jones's "Tough Guide to Fantasyland" but this looks more analytical.

I did a research project on publishing and those are an oft-overlooked, good option.
I shall see if it's available to buy here in the land of tea and rain and other such stereotypes and buy a copy if so. :)

Will there be an e-book version? The print version might be difficult to get a hold of for us non-US residents.
I'm not sure about e-book versions. I think so, but don't quote me on that. I do know it's for sale on the UK amazon site and that my publisher does over-seas sales.
