Just felt like shouting it out to the world.
*raises hands in the air*
And now onto high school. I'm seriously not expecting to survive.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY CONGRATS AND HUZZAH!
From both of us XD
Pay attention, turn stuff in, and you should be fine. Junior year will be the busiest, so enjoy being a freshman/sophomore while it lasts. Good luck!
In Australia, for some weird reason, both Year 6 and Year graduated from primary this year. Which means that I'm not the youngest at high school. It's really weird.
Right, Austrailia has a different system... my mistake, then. Still, good luck!
Okay, bear with me on this.
The earliest date I'm aware of for the PPC is the publication of 'Clan of the Cactus' in March 2002. Miss Cam's site says that there were four other spinoffs before that, plus TOS. Assuming Miss Cam has the early spinoffs in chronological order, the very first spinoff story (Architeuthis' original Intelligence report) must post-date the first mention of Makes-Things in TOS3.
Reviews for CotC make it clear that TOS was banished from FF.net on May 11th 2002; by May 16th, Philosopher at Large had rehosted them. At the time they were banished, they'd already written 14 missions. That's 14 missions in the six months since Fellowship was released, which is quite impressive, but I'm straying from my point.
All indications are that Jay and Acacia began writing the PPC just as soon as the first movie came out, so in December '01 or January '02. That means this month or next is our thirteenth birthday. And, uh...
Are you actually younger than the PPC?

(Also, y'know, congrats, well done, etc etc. I'm not good at remembering social niceties.)

I just realized that practically everyone here is younger than the PPC.
So it isn't that big of an accomplishment after all.
You, like every other PPC fan ever known to have existed, are older than the PPC - slightly. We're still waiting on someone born after J&A started writing.
Well, I mean, we're not; that would be a really sad thing to be waiting for. But... you get what I mean.

And now I feel stupid.
Heh. I could use a time machine or something so that I could be born later, if you want?
Either that, or a bit of a loophole that would result in your first birthday being the day you were actually born.
Also, you're... younger than me. o_O
(February 17, 2000.)
And yup, I am!
Time machines are not fun. Time machines are headache.
It's not like high school ate my soul
Nah, I'm kidding. As long as you study, I think you'll be fine. *offers hug*
