Probably because they're one of the harder-to-obtain starters? Either way, some fool traded a Chikorita to my RL friend for a Suicune, of all things.

So here I am with questions.
I have Pokémon Y version, and I've unlocked the Friend Safari. Unfortunately, I only have one 3DS friend: My brother. Thus, the only Friend Safari I have is a Bug-type safari from him.
Would anyone be willing to share their 3DS friend codes? Hey, maybe this could end up with a lot of people getting them.
Anyway, my own Friend Code is 1392-5826-5259, and my Nintendo username is Voyd.
So here's what we have thus far.
Format: Name / Mii Name / Friend Code / Safari Type / Pokémon 1, Pokémon 2, Pokémon 3
Voyd / Voyd / 1392-5826-5259 / Ice / Sneasel, Snover, ???
Darkotas / Cody or Darkotas / 3823-9409-3882 / Electric / Pachirisu, Electabuzz, ???
doctorlit / doctorlit/ 2277-7567-7254 / Grass / Tangela, Swadloon, ???
Tira / Dess / 3024-6553-0049 / Poison / Kakuna, Venomoth, ???
Iximaz / Sabrina / 4356-1134-7316 / Fighting / Mankey, Throh, Breloom
eatpraylove / Sara / 0576-5807-4247 / Water / Bibarel, Wartortle, ???
I have an Electric Friend Safari, with Parachisu, Electibuzz, and ? (haven't run into the third yet. Code is 3823-9409-3882, with the Mii name being either Cody or Darkotas.
Hoping to get a 2DS and X for Christmas, I'll tell you after then (hopefully). Until then I'm jealous (slightly)
Name is doctorlit, code is 2277-7567-7254.
Hm. We need to get Maslab and Plat from the chatroom to join in . . .
I've only got two badges myself, so it'll be a while before I get to partake in the Friend Safari, but at least you guys can make use of my code. (I'm one of those weirdos who actually likes level-grinding, and does it one at a time, no experience sharing, Rare Candies are sell-high items to me. It takes me a while to get through an RPG.)
Also, anyone want a Machamp? I grinded a Machop into a Machoke for the Pokédex, but I want to use my Machamp from White Version instead. So the Machoke/Machamp is up for grabs, first come, first served.
Which version do you have? I have plenty of things that you could breed/train, due to copious use of the GTS (I always have fair trades) and Wonder Trade.
I have Y version, but I've managed to get my grubby mitts on 281 breeds of Pokémon.
Granted, I still haven't transferred all of my Mons from HeartGold and Black, so I probably have way more.
But I also have Sapphire, Platinum, SoulSilver, White and Black 2, so . . . I'm pretty set 'Dex-wise. Thanks for the offer, though.
So, I'm a Grass safari? Sweet! Grass is one of my favorite types. (Which is ironic, since in real life, plants are my most hated enemies.) Sorry about that third slot. Like I said, I play slow, so don't expect those to get filled in anytime soon. I didn't beat either Gen V story-line until after X and Y came out . . .
Those little green bean Pokémon will go like hotcakes on the GTS; that's how I completed my Kalos 'dex.
If you'd like, I could trade you a starting pair.
Of all Pokémon, why Chikorita?
You have a Grass-type Friend Safari. The occupants are Tangela, Swadloon, and a bloody elusive third party that I haven't managed to find yet.
It's because you need to have entered the Hall of Fame before it shows up, though that doesn't explain why I couldn't find Voyd's third.
My brother nearly went crazy trying to find my third 'mon, though his and one of my real-life friends Safaris never gave me any trouble. All the others, though...
My Friend Code is 3024-6553-0049, and my Mii's name is Dess.
Thanks for doing this! I don't actually have any 3DS friends, so I've never gotten to check out the Friend Safari.
Tira if your Friend Safari type is Poison and has Kakuna in it...would you be willing to add me? I have been looking for a Kakuna safari for several months now but I have never been able to find one.
my 3DS FC is 4399-0142-7083
my 3DS name is David
I'm willing to add you, if it means that much to you. I'm glad I can help you?
However, if you're interested in the PPC you should make an introduction thread on the Board, too.
ok and im about to add you and thank you so very much
Since your name doesn't show up in a Board search, I have to assume you're a newbie. In which case...
Hi, newbie! Have some movie-theater popcorn!
You have a Poison-type Safari. The Pokémon I've managed to find are Kakuna and Venomoth.
Why is it that the only Safari where I've found all three Pokémon is my brother's? He has a Bug-type safari (which is hilariously fitting, he loves little critters) with Paras, Beautifly and Vivillon.
I have a Fighting-type Safari, with Mankey, Breloom, Throh.
4356-1134-7316
If you get the chance, can you let me know what my Friend Safari Pokémon are? My brother hasn't been to Kiloude City, and we're mailing his 2DS to Nintendo, so it's not like I can ask him.
The Pokémon are Sneasel (WOOT), Snover, and the third one is refusing to show up. Sorry, but I got bored running in the tall grass for so long. To be fair, I never found out one of my buddy's Pokémon after trying for an hour, so... yeah.
My brother's the only one home right now and he's being a turd. I can't climb the stairs right now and I left my DS in my room.
But for what it's worth, look for either Iximaz, Rina, or Sabrina. I honestly don't remember what I put.
Unfortunately, I don't have X/Y (yet), so I can't help you with the whole Friend Safari thing. My code is 0576-5807-4247, and my Mii's name is Sara. (Anyone reading this who plays Animal Crossing: New Leaf, my town is called Daisy if you wanna pay me a visit.)
The Pokémon in your Safari are apparently of OMG proportions: Bibarel and Wartortle.
If you get X/Y and we're online at the same time, a Bibarel I catch in your Safari could have the most broken ability in the game, Moody.
Just further proof of how awesome they are. Don't. Diss. The Bidoofs.
It relies so much on luck to get useful buffs/not harmful drops. Seems like it wouldn't be successful often enough to warrant banning . . .
It's the potential for it to break the Evasion Clause I believe. Although it does have the ability to produce incredible buffs and the drops can be counteracted by using the right moves, (attack drop, using Swords Dance, or Power-up Punch or Bulk up or...) and then with the buffs it works absolute wonders on baton pasing teams, so if you get a drop in Special Defense baton pass out to whoever your Specially Defensive pokemon is on your team with Calm Mind or Amnesia to get read of the drop, for example.
I named mine Hodor.
Hodor hodor hodor. Hodor hodor? Hodor!
Also, hi Tawaki! I thought you left the PPC.
You don't actually have to have the game; apparently your Friend Safari is Water-type. I'll let you know what the three Pokémon are, soon as I find out.
