It's in the Potterverse, but... well, Harry is character replaced with a really creepy, abusive asshole and it's passed off as romance. Just so you know if you volunteer.

I sent it to Storm Hawke and got a 'failure to send' notice. Now we have a mini-email running around. ^_^

I would be happy (or maybe 'happy' is the wrong word to use here) to look it over. Although be warned, I can do some SPaG but can't set commas to save my own life.

Do you have an email anywhere I could send the link to the GDocs? Of course, I'm currently stuck flat on my back with a pulled muscle and can't sit up to access the computer, but once it's up I can send the link.
(I just figured asking now would mean I'd get a bit of a head start once I'm recovered. The mission is finished, though.) -

Who wrote this? It sounds like it wasn't you, from how you were talking about it.

The story is Soulmates. Be prepared for a spineless, idiotic wuss of a Sue and a Harry to give you nightmares.

This sounds like it needs Bad Het or DMS. Unless the author would actually be willing to listen?
I really shouldn't read it. Abusive relationships being Twu Luv is a major NSFB for me when coupled with other bad writing. -

I actually had to cut about three chapters' worth off the mission I had planned because Replacement!Harry was making me feel ill.
The worst part is that all through the fic, the Sue kept saying 'he scares me, but he's so gorgeous! But he's scary! But he's so HAWT!!1one!'
The best part is that Replacement!Harry had breath that smelled like "sandalwood with the hint of lavender and... Apples". I couldn't stop guffawing.
And my agents are in DMS, that's why they took care of it. It did not end well for anyone. -
That sounds familiar. by

Fifty Shades of Grey Fanficfic? Or at least inspired? Because Stockholm!Sue sounds like Anastasia Steele. Not that I've read FSoG, but I've seen the Snark Squad's snarking of it.
Mission link? I could probably handle it, mission'd. Unless it's fully Bleepfic SPaG. And even then I'd probably read it, I'd just regret it (and the lack of Bleeproducts in the Real World) later. -
Actually, the author's a Twilight fan. by

I've never beta'd (betad and betaed do not look right) before, except in English class, so I don't know about being the sole beta for the mission, but I could certainly look over it, if you like! I do have a pretty good eye for SPaG errors, semicolons aside, and I can usually find clunk, but I can't make any promises.
(Off-topic side note: I almost misspelled my username on this due to typing on a phone. Since I doubt you want a Mini-Boarder running amok, posting things, I'm glad I didn't. Especially on a post about betaing things.)
And on the author being a Twilight fan... I was half right, at least. Hopefully this one won't try to publish it. ;)
(And now is when I realize you were looking for a beta for you, not trying to find a SPaG-deprived author one. I am not smart sometimes.) -
