This is going to be the last Driftwood update for a while - as explained in the A/N, I need a quick break. Hopefully in the new year we'll be back with a mission every week yet again, because I don't know what's good for me. ^_^

And while I'm here: I'd just like to say a huge thank you to all those people who are writing missions and posting them here. I know it takes a fair amount of time, and I know it can sometimes be a struggle to push unwilling agents through to the end - but honestly, without the missions, there wouldn't be a PPC. So thank you, all of you, for helping to keep this place alive.

Obviously if, say, the Guardsman found an excuse to actively monitor a Dalek agent, they'd wire a mike into the Dalek's travel machine in the same way as they wired one into the Key. For an agent without any mechanical add-ons to conveniently hold it... well, alternate timeline Constance speculated once about bugs under the flash patches, so that's a possibility. Or just, y'know, keeping an eye on them in general.

It's important to remember that Selene is an incredibly biased observer here. She's had previous bad experiences with the DIA, and is convinced to the point of paranoia that they're out to get her. Whether they're actually prejudiced against vampires is an open question.
