On the one hand, the idea of finally seeing an operational Jurassic Park (outside of Operation Genesis, which was admittedly pretty cool) is amazing. On the other hand, I've kind of been sold on the idea of feathers looking awesome, so - particularly those I-Can't-Believe-It's-Not-Gallimimus - they look very plucked-turkey to me. So, y'know.

Because the original 'wow' factor of JP was that it was way more accurate than we'd ever seen before. This is... like running into a group which used to be amazingly liberal-minded, but has retained the exact same mindset while the world around it changed, and ended up as arch-conservative throwbacks. (Probably because that's exactly what it is...?) Therapod dinosaurs had - have - feathers. The movies should really accept that.

But still - ignoring the occasional naked therapod, and no doubt other archaic scientific inaccuracies (like, did you know, there's no non-avian dinosaurs alive today! You'd think the film would get that right! [/tongue in cheek]), it's still unspeakably cool-looking. Even if I did spend the first half of the trailer going 'this is a really bad idea, Park Guys...'
