Publishing credit is publishing credit, and it was a nice little story. It managed to convey a lot of world setting in a short word count, and that's hard (at least for me). And it had a happy ending, and I love those.
I really want to share this with everyone, and I'd really like to see stuff that other people are proud of, too.
My beta made a podfic of one of my stories. It sounds great, and the cover art is amazing! (I'm pretty happy with my story, too, but have to say I have the coolest beta ever!)
So what would you like to share?
Back in 2012 I was in a creative writing class and had to write a short story or three. I managed to get one published in an online magazine called the WiFiles. While I have a sneaking suspicion that part of that acceptance came from the fact that I let them keep the story fee ($3), I'm still inordinately proud of this.

I think some of my fanfics might be better-written, because I'm still fairly new to writing short, but it's still my first publication.

There are a bunch of people who are awesome with this one story I'm writing, and they encourage me and give me ideas. Specifically, an amazing guy by the name of Golden Keyblade who freaks out with me about Doctor Who.
But, I'd have to say, the best review I've gotten so far was from someone who told me that they had bought a dinosaur that looked like the one in my fic and named it Charles, in honor of my writing.
I feel kinda guilty now that Charles the Calvinosaur is going to be evil in later chapters... but, yeah. Spoilers!
I really have the urge to hug some people sometimes.

Because the persona fanfic I mentioned is, in fact, the only writing project that no one has proclaimed to be stupid yet (Well, there was stargazer, but my dad's cousin was at least being civil about the criticism, and those were only parts of it), likely because it's interesting and despite being my first time writing a goodfic (the last one before that was a badfic that I took down. that one was stupid, even for me), My beta thinks it's pretty interesting.
I'm very proud of this because it is the only writing Iv'e ever done that has never angered me. Even the criticism is civil and in-a-matter-of-fact way. and, if no-one has ranted about it's stupidity, then it must be at least decent.

Don't go using this thread to say that people call your stuff stupid. Seriously. Don't. Your passive-aggressiveness isn't getting you any sympathy.
Yes, people have called my stuff stupid. That is not concrit. that's flaming.
Since it seems the fact that concrit =/= flaming can't seem to get through to you, I give up. I'm tired of your passive-aggressiveness towards everyone on the Board, your rudeness and inappropriate behavior in general, and your outright spitefulness towards Ekyl.
I don't have to put up with this. Whine all you want, 7.65. I'm washing my hands of this whole mess. But, before I silence myself in regards to it, I would like to state that in the event a petition for banning gets started, you can add me to the list.
