  1. Not that I know. As far as I know, the only time when someone missions something they wrote is when they wrote the badfic before joining the PPC and want it sporked. Otherwise, the closest thing I can think about is what Huinesoron did - he wrote a couple of purposefully bad fics for others to mission as part of his "Ispace Wars" story-line.
    2. In the grim darkness of the future, there is only war.
    3. Related to what you mentioned above, Cupcakes isn't grimdark. It's a darkfic. Grimdark is basically a 'verse that everything in is screwed up and hopeless (see WH40K. There's a reason why the phrase comes from its tagline).
    4. Generally speaking, both AO3 and the Pit host fics.
