Hello again, everyone! Dark Brother 16 is back.
So, about... a long time ago, maybe three months ago, I tried to get permission to start posting stories, and agreed to a sample mission to show that I could do so without going off topic, or something like that.
Unfortunately, life got in the way. My family and I moved, and we had to fix the house. Quite literally, because we moved back into a house we rented, and the renters were slobs.
And then after that, I was accepted into College! That's right, I'm currently in College. My hard work in my academic life has paid off.
So, soon, I will be able to get started with PPC stuff again some time soon. Obviously, I have assignments for College, and every now and then, I'll be able to devote some time to planning my next several missions.
If I need to submit my agents again for approval, please say so, so that I can get that out of the way when possible.
It's good to be back. :) -

Remember me? :3
Not gonna lie, I was wondering what had happened to you. Glad to hear you're doing okay- doing great, by the sound of it. College? Yikes! But congratulations!
If you got Permission, you have it forever as far as I know. I haven't heard of Permission being retracted or anything, at least.
Welcome back! -

Yeah, I remember you. :)
Yep. College. It's been great so far, though. I'm doing pretty well.
Well, I don’t know really if I got permission or not. I was trying to get the bios ready and up to par, and I forget who it was, but the PG told me to try and write a first mission to see if I could do it without diverting into a larger story, like I plan to, eventually, do. It'll be something kind of small scale, though, so I doubt the entire community will need to get involved, unless they want to. Still working out how to do this, but for now, I'm just going to do the missions. -
No, you did not get Permission. by

You were spending all your time writing bios and short stories that told us absolutely nothing about how you would actually write. I made the decision that you would be better off trying to write an actual mission - the thing you're trying to get Permission so you can keep doing - and showing me that, to demonstrate how you'd actually write. That mission, all by itself, will constitute a Permission Request.

From what I remember, you were denied permission but an alternate route- writing a mission as your permission application instead of bios and whatnot- was provided.
I'm pretty sure you were just given a different option for applying for permission, not permission itself. -

Yeah, I was. I remember that we were calling it a "PerMission".

Didn't you give me a can of virtual beef soup on a pillow as a newbie gift? (Still don't know what to do with that, but whatever.)

By the way, I was wondering whether or not somebody has done a mission for The Girl Who Lived Septology. It's on the wikia page, but it doesn't really say. It says that Des Mervin sporked it, so is that the same thing?

A mission is a type of sporking, but not all sporkings are missions. Considering The Girl Who Lived's length, I'm pretty confident it was not missioned.
In fact, I doubt it is a fitting fic for a mission because of its sheer length - a mission that will no doubt be longer than a book will be both problematic and time-consuming to write and (at least in my opinion) very annoying to read. -

Not Des Mervine, Das Mervin. Sorry.
