Hey, I'm a n00b on this form and would like to make a request
May I request permission to write a Sporking of
http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8724421/1/Never-Ending-Desire
This is my first fic.
Also, I know you guys probably hate me (as seen in my previous thread ) So I shall state a few things.
1) I knew that was a trollfic
2)I haven't co-written. /so ronery
I know you don't know me, but that's only because I haven't been able to post for a few days.
I just wanted to warn you - if you keep up this way of asking Permission before anybody knows you well enough to decide, you're liable to get in trouble.
So please, try and slow down a bit, okay?
0k, I;ll wait a few months.
I don't feel like you really read what we had to say. We don't hate you, we aren't mad at you. We're sincerely trying to get you to go about this the right way - we've given you all the stuff you can do, I've explained why lurking isn't the same as letting us get to know you...
It's wonderful that you want to spork. It really is. And it's great that you want to spork as a member of the PPC. You need to be active on the Board for more than just one day - you need to actually talk to us in different threads, interact with others on the Board more than just read their posts. And as far as cowriting goes, you won't ever cowrite if you never ask anyone who does have Permission if you can tag along as help.
Please, please go and read this page, because it really will explain every reason why you cannot just barge in and ask Permission to spork as a PPCer on the same day that you finally introduce yourself to the Board.
Thanks! This is really helpful. And as 4chan would say, LURK MOAR
First of all: Check if you wrote your name into the author field. That's kind of important.
Second: Not lurk moar. Lurk less. Actually post things, but read up on the wiki first.
We have a department that handles those specifically - but again, please go about asking Permission the right way before you barge in and do it as a member of the PPC.
