I know I haven't got Permission, but I suppose that this isn't technically writing for the PPC, exactly...
But here I go.

In my story (which is an AU featuring Rose Tyler travelling with Calvin and Hobbes instead of the Doctor) I'd like, in one sort of 'episode', for them to accidentally run into a PPC RL Gathering. This would mean that they'd bump into several Boarders and interact for a bit, before maybe saving the world with the aforementioned Boarders. If I were to do this, I'd have to use you guys and hopefully get you In Character, so... thoughts? Yes? No? Ham-Cheese Sandwich?

Obviously you'd need to ask permission (lowercase) from the specific Boarders you wanted to use - or ask for volunteers - and probably, since it's RPF, let them read it before you publish. But in principle, I don't know why it wouldn't be.

Alternately, you could borrow the Hypothetical Boarders; they have about enough personality to be used as characters now, and one of them even has a real name(!). Again, though, I'd prefer if you asked if you're going to do that (partly because I have information which isn't up on that page yet).

I love the idea of using the Hypothetical Boarders, especially Lackidasical (if that's how you spell it? Not sure), 'cause she seems quite fun.
I laughed and laughed over the hullabaloo snippets. Actually, since I'm using Rose in this story-thing, I could have a lot of fun over this... *inserts Evil Laugh© here*

It is... wow, such a misspelling, I never realised that, of 'lackadaisical', which according to the OED comes from 'one who is given to crying Lackaday!'. So basically Legolas.

That's the second word I thought I knew which I've had to look up today and find I was wildly wrong. The other one was [goes to check] repudiate, or 'redupidate' if you prefer the authentic hS spelling.

Anyhow, Lacksi spells it Lacksidacksical. So there. ^-^

The thing is, I type my posts out on a Kobo Touch, meaning, you won't see many novel-length posts by me anytime soon. It also means I can't go back and forth to check spellings... I knew there was sonething wrong, but couldn't quite place it. »-«
I immediately associated the name 'Lacksidacksical' with 'lacksidaisy' because it was a nonsense word I once heard that meant 'scatterbrained'. I make weird asumptions with words like that all the time... it sometimes leads to immensely embarassing mispronounciations. This is my first one on the Board, though!

I just spent 10 minutes writing that. Huh.

On the same subject, would that be counted as a Mini-Boarder? Or a Mini-Hypothetical-Boarder? And what would they look like?
