I couldn't find much of anything to complain about, so well done there. The only somewhat negative note I had was in regards to Ilraen's "ninety-degree pirouette" inso much as I have no idea what that might look like. But that's an incredibly minor thing. Everything else was very solid, peppered with some great character moments. The references to previous stories (including the ongoing "Agony in Pink") are much appreciated details.
I shall be watching for any updates with an eager eye.

Good luck, stay as sane as possible, and give the replacement an extra kick in the stomach from Ami Seeker.

Seriously, I feel that it gives an epic, determined, "we will have an adventure" feel.

Y'know, once upon a dream time, I was convinced I could write up a mission of that and sneak it out while nobody was looking, so to speak. I had my characters' plots for the mission roughly planned out, complete with character growth and tender moments and other, similar pleasantnesses.
Then I realised that that was just being a dick for the sake of it, and I disappeared for, like, six months or something and came back a bit better.
Now I'm just glad that the mission will be put out, and the successful kill will doubtless be a joy to read. Godspeed. =]

It's a bit of a shame you couldn't get this done entirely for the 'anniversary', but still havng something done for the 10-years mark? Awesome beginning.
Eh, I hoped Sucide and Dio would be here. They did come back because they were going for the second round, after all.
Well good luck with this horror, both of you. Just reminds to Tungsten Monk of no forgetting the returnbie post, his guideboo just finished being printed. Oh, and does he prefer coffee or chocolate?
Now, good luck to all of them: Supernumerary, Jennifer Robinson, and Ilraen-Aroline-Fothergill, especially our blue friend. He sure got a very long way. (spoils, highlight) Although from what the text you gave for deduction say, he had some shred of hope entering this mess. 10 years in, and he was even more naive than Zeb on this one.

And that time is June 18, 2016.
No, but really, this looks awesome.
I should probably read the original attempt at Subjugation then, eh?
Good luck, you two! ^_^ by

I look forward to hearing how both teams fare in all this. It's good to see them interacting again and I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Look, I don't care if we have to wait another ten years (...okay, maybe I'd care a little if it was that long) to read the next bit. I'm excited!
(Er, spoilers below, I suppose.)

Thank goodness Jenni's coming along; having a FicPsych nurse in the group would definitely be a huge asset to them. Ilraen standing up to Nume and bringing backup, though, had to be my favorite part—it shows how much he cares and how much he's grown. Warms the bottom of my heart. :)
And whee, Su and Dio are back as well! It'll be fun to see them working with Nume and Ilraen again; I couldn't get enough of the dynamic they had going in "Ring Child" and it looks like this will be just as good, with extra Jenny... goodness? For good measure? Eh, whatever. This is gonna be good. :D
"Don't get too excited" came a bit too late, I'm afraid.

I truly cannot wait to see the rest.
My favorite part is certainly Ilraen's in here. He's come a long way.
