I've never seen such bad purple prose and gratuitous use of a Mary Sue. At least it's not Harry.
Also, I'm totally unashamed of this pun:
Would Harry teaching Defense in his second year along with all the other inexplicable stuff be... DADA-ism?

The Aviator and Zeb get a really stupid mission where the Sue hits every cliché in the book, and then some.
The mini-interlude, too.
When the agents went in to say "okay we can kill her now," I was a little disappointed that they continued on. It was worth it, though.
Something about that isn't right. A luxray, for heaven's sakes! Right at the end of the evolutionary chain!
One of those was a boss in one of the Mystery Dungeon games!
I'd love to see him as shinx, is all I'm saying.
That Sue was awesome, by the way. I hope that story wasn't a troll, because that was truly beautiful.
And yeah, that Luxray fight was always ridiculously difficult when I was younger. When I was older and picked PMD up again, it ended up being quite easy—took out the Luxray first, then all the Luxio. Playing as a Skitty with Sing helped immensely. :P
Though if you want to know what he looks like as a Shinx...
But those games. Those games.
Blue Rescue Team made me cry when I played it as a kid. Sat there with tears in my eyes, swearing to my mum that they were from happiness.
That alakazam fellow telling you to run away, diglett crying. Ripped my little heart into shreds, that did.
Even when I replayed the game and knew it was coming, I still cried. All the NPCs gathered in front of my base telling me goodbye and they believed in me...ow. :'(
(I kid, I saw the correction. :P)
Explorers really messed me up at the end, when your partner is going around sharing the story of what happened and you think it's a Happily Ever After, and then they go down to the beach where you first met and they start bawling their eyes out because they miss you so much...

...
And then their grief is so powerful Dialga himself (itself?) hears them crying and brings you back through time and space for an impossible reunion, and you're just bawling your eyes out because you went from sad feels to happy feels just like that.
Rescue Team was pretty emotional, too, but I think Explorers hit me hardest since that was the game I'd poured so much time and energy into.

You wouldn't think those games would hurt so much. They're the brightest looking things you'd ever see, filled with cute little animal things going on adventures, with little scarf thingos around their necks.
I can barely remember the names of my friends from my old schools, but the final level theme from Blue Rescue Team is engraved right into my head.
You played the newer ones? 3d graphics, and all?
I've heard that they're not as good as the original ones, but I wouldn't know.

Gates to Infinity, that's what it's called. I played it almost to the final boss, got fed up, and quit. The story's not as engaging and you're limited to Snivy, Oshawott, Tepig, Pikachu, and Axew as the 'mons you and your partner can play. Rescue Team and Explorers were so much better. :(
The best parts of the other games were the stories, and being able to play as the weird non-starters.
Sure, this new one has Axew and Pikachu, but Explorers had Munchlax! Hell, Blue Rescue Team had a Cubone!
It's probably safe to assume another one will come out. Here's hoping they do better, eh?

This is awesome. Now I know why I wanted to see it. On the other hand... This means that... Wait, not I don't want to give you ideas. My Immortal will be bad enough without... that.
Just going to head things off here: My Immortal will not feature the Aviator giving birth. It took me two years to reach 60 missions; it'll take me about another year and a half before I hit 100, when I plan to tackle that beast. Unless new information comes up in the Doctor Who canon to contradict what (little) is already there, the kid will be born by then.
Little slice of normal life, or as normal it can get here in PPC, is so sweet. Besides, it makes quite a time we didn't see the Dives. Seeing agents can have something else than Duty in their life is always great.
Going home to visit parents? A rare treat for her and her brother.I don't write their parents very much because I just don't like writing them, sorry.

I thnk this story takes the cake for stupid. Only fanfic stupider I read is a trollfic. Or this Argon thing who left me needing an urgent transplant for my eyes if we go for 'canon' things.
Now on the plus side, it's way less alcohol in Ave's future, and that's a big plus.
Now, I would love to read about the discussion she's about to ave with her mom. And I'm not even talking about her friends' reaction...
I think we'll all greatly enjoy this story arc.
The farther you read, the more it seems like it could be a troll, but every now and then some line or other will pop up that makes you go "no, it was written by a ten year old". Poe's Law at its finest, I guess.
I guess we'll see if I actually write that conversation or not, because on the one hand, it could be interesting, but on the other, it might also wind up being dreadfully dull and full of clichés. Besides, "Mum, I'm pregnant and there is no biological father" would go over like a sack of bricks. :P

I mean, it's not like you written the longest spin-off in PPC featuring one character, with a quality always here since the beginning and a fascinating storyline...
I can understand this. When I saw the trollfic I mentionned, I first thouht the author had gone bonkers. Ten I asked the opinion of a Madoka professional,, aka Sergio, and he told me it was indeed a trollfic. I literally dn't understand why would someone write something like this and post it on the Web.
The Aviator's a tad stubborn, if you haven't noticed. The conversation would probably run in circles for a few hours while she wallows in that all-too-pervasive Time Lord Angst (TM). And repetition gets pretty boring after the third time.
But wouldn't be a calling ut after this? I think people would object about running the conversation in circles after it lasted long enough.
But shutting up. That's your show, you're the one saying how it will run.
But wow that was bad... I mean, okay, "soul bonds" or whatever is a common cliches in Potter badfics, but ugh again with the multi-Animagus form... Although I'll give this fic a point of credit for calling Harry "He-who-hated-his-fame"... That was pretty funny.
But then, the fics immediately loses 10 points for lightning phoenix! Seriously?!
Also, props for (most likely unintentional) Polish shoutout and the Aviator downing spirytus :D If we're talking about this guy then it's 96% ABV, or 190 U.S proof. Then again, Time Lord biology and stuff like that...
All in all, great job!
It wasn't exactly a shout-out so much as that seemed to be the most potent alcohol I could find short of pure ethanol. I figure even Time Lord biology wouldn't be able to handle that much.
And yeah, the "He-who-hated-his-fame" was amusing, but the rest of the fic is so awful I can barely give it a pass.
