It's not over yet, but we've seen so many good things so far. Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, but to me the real star of the show is the next Halo game.
Here, come squee with me.
So to all gamers of the PPC, what are you currently hyped for/playing? Let's chat awhile. -

I'm totally hyped for it but it's going to be a long while yet.
I'm also looking forward to the remaster for PS4 of the two first Arkham games, which are going to be here in July I think.
And there's going to be a new Batman game made by Telltale, which I think is going to be awesome.
I don't play a lot of games, because I tend to replay my favourites over and over, instead of picking up something new, so I'm very partial to sequels and remasters. ;) -
They remastered the first three Crash games for the PS4. by

Nothing at E3.
I'm just desperately sitting over here, waiting for Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass, Knuckle Sandwich, and MOTHER 4.
And for Hyper Light Drifter to go on sale.
So, er, if anyone's heard of any of those...
Woo! Yeah! -
Persona 5, of course. by

The European Ghetto couldn't have any date, but the game is finally coming close. I need it.
And, now you showed this, I guess I can check for more info about Halo Wars 2. Always liked the first one. -

With respect to the HW2 trailer... by

Listen to it again. Now, at the very end of the trailer where they pan out to show the ruins the Covenant and the UNSC are fighting in, look at the top right corner.
See how the ground seems to slope upwards in triangular shape? Notice how the lyrics speak of two adversaries who've "been here before"? That it's the "same old score"?
The Spirit of Fire somehow made it to the Ark. They are fighting the Covenant remnant that was left behind during the Battle of Installation 00. -

We're talking about the same Spirit of Fire, the ship with a badass army who fought since Harvest, and tracked a Covenant army hell-bent on using a Forerunner fleet, killed said army, then nuked the Forerunner world were these ships were kept, and also fought against the Flood on the way for good mesure? Oh, and the one with three Spartan-II onboard?
Where do they take the money? -

Rise of Iron, the second massive expansion for Destiny. The week leading up to it was the same as E3's but was crazier than the actual expo IMO, thanks to what was either a seriously brilliant marketing scheme or an expert leaker.
Oh, and Destiny's finally ditching last-gen for future updates. No more crummy design because "hurr hurr 360 and PS3 need it to." -

I've heard a lot of things about the game— mostly negative— so how is the state of the game right now? I hear that you essentially have to buy the base game and all of the DLC on top of that in order to have a semblance of a decent game.
Aside from the price of all that, y'know. Might as well get the Witcher III and play a complete AAA title for a great price, right? -

And honestly you can get the base game + all current DLC for less than the Witcher III if you buy the Taken King Edition from a game store. Honestly the only downside I've experienced is that you can't get too attached to any one set of equipment because you are constantly finding better things.

The Warcraft movie, based on the RTS of the same name and drawing heavily from retcons introduced in World of Warcraft, came out recently and I got to see it for the first time today. My family's going to see it in IMAX later this week and I'm super-pumped for the second viewing. I thought it was a pretty good movie, taking the lore, blending it, and remixing it in such a way as to be better presented on the big screen, rather than a game.
I won't deny there were some pretty narmy bits in it, like Garona crowd-surfing over a battlefield or the orcs chanting "Zug! Zug! Zug! Zug!" as their victory cry (In the games, zug-zug means "yes-yes" or "okay", like "okay, I'll do it"), but overall it was an excellent movie and I was squeeing the whole way through watching it earlier. So I'm hyped to see it again. :D
...And while I'm speaking of WoW, the next expansion, Legion, comes out in a little less than two months now. I'm not looking forward to having to learn the new raidsand coaching the rest of the raid team on the fights, but everything else? Yespleasegivemoredowant. -

I saw some of the intended changes amongst the characters...
After all of this, it will be hard to do another expansion. -
Why would you say that? by

Blizzard's changed around leadership of the factions multiple times in the past, and characterization of the major lore figures has almost never been static. I don't see why Legion will make a difference.

Well, from the way it looks like, it seems there will be even more changes later in the expansion, and they're already killing/raising quite a lot of characters.
And there is the fact I'm not sure about how they will top which seems to shape in a major battle agains the Burning Legion.
Last expansion saw Archimonde killed without Wisp spam. (Which was... logic, since he's summoned and the Wisps' detonation damaged summoned units.) There is not exactly many steps left before Sargeras, and once the Black Titan is gone... -
Well, nothing for it but to wait and see. by

I'm personally still keeping my fingers crossed for an Old Gods expansion next. That would be so freaking awesome. :D
And change isn't a bad thing in and of itself; in fact, after the essentially dead-end storyline of WoD, I'm excited to see big things actually happening to Azeroth. I wasn't around for Cataclysm, so seeing something happen to the world itself will be big for me. As for characters dying... I'm honestly glad. I hate it when you have a game called freaking World of Warcraft and nobody important dies. It starts to get dull and unsuspenseful after too long. -
Oh, I've got nothing against change. by

Must admit that the new instances, raids and class, this thing with becoming 'class leadder' for Azeroth, new Four Horsemen at your call for instance, half of them instance bosses you defeated, and also freaking Tirion apparently, are wonderful, it's just that I fear they fail to keep up like this on the very long term. You can only pile up bombs for so long, and they're already using quite a lot here, and that's only the first patch. (Though I must admit the idea of killing the Old Gods and Azzshara would be appealing.)

Also curious about how Assassin's Creed will do as a movie, and then as a franchise. After all, everything after AC3 is not that good IMHO. Certainly looking forward to seeing it.
