I've never even heard of Treasure Planet, but the agents' descriptions of what the canon was supposed to be and how the Sue was ruining it were enough to make me enraged, cringing, and intensely satisfied by her death. I haven't felt this invested in a mission in a long time. Also I wish I was in a country where I could legally take those shots.

And poor Ave. . . what can I say. I'm excited and worried to see where this goes.

It's a surprisingly faithful adaptation of Treasure Island, in SPACE. With steampunk solar ships! And aliens! What's not to love? :D

And heh, thanks. I am, too; I feel like writing a Time War survivor is easier than writing a pregnancy. >.> Ix and Lottie will probably be up next, but then we'll be seeing some more of Ave and Zeb.

Well, congrats for you with this series of missions. Glitterbag's death was just as much as enjoyable I thought it would be. And she's more stupid than I thought, but once again, no surprise.

Now, about the Aviator... (Highlight)This is her live and her body, so the final decision will be up to her, but she needs to talk to her friends about this, and better sooner than later. Given the way the IO hates her guts, word will come around, and I think she would prefer they learn about this from her than from the rumor gutter. More important point, she's once again at a low point. A understandable low point, but she needs to talk about this, or it will crush her. She may be the one taking the decision, but she's clearly not in the state for taking it all alone, it's too much big and left field for her right now. Please let her seeks help.

I really enjoyed writing it—Treasure Planet is just such a beautiful movie and I might have fallen in love with the entire thing. One of Disney's best and most underappreciated adaptations, in my opinion.

As for the Aviator, she'll start talking to others once she's made her decision, but can you really blame her for not wanting any more attention?

I sure as heck wouldn't want all and sundry to know I'd gotten pregnant and the "father" was a badfic. What a situation!

On the other hand, the Aviator has some benefits available to her with PPC Medical. She doesn't have to stay pregnant, whether she keeps the baby or not, because it's easy to get uterine replicators (or similar technology) from any of the sci-fi verses that the PPC regularly visits, and taking care of badfic babies is what the Nursery is there for. So she doesn't have to stop working if she doesn't want to, nor does she have to stay pregnant. Not saying this is trivial, but boy, I sure wish the Real World had debuggers and uterine replicators.

She's not looking forward to the rumors that would start flying if/when people find out. I mean, if someone's pregnant, your first thought isn't exactly "Magic!"

Can't say what she's going to decide for sure (though to be honest it's probably obvious), but I totally agree—if the real world had baby jars I'd probably be a bit more willing to want kids. Of course, that's not taking into account the eighteen or so years after they're born...

Yep, te film was good. I read the book after though. Was a little surprised Arrow was an incompetent drunkard in the book. If I remember it right, they even did an anime series about the book.
