They're also smelly and noisy, but in a great way.
I hope that the legendary, and the game, manages to take at least one of those descriptors.
This may be the first time I've ever been this hyped. Mostly because rotom pokedex! Rotom has always been my favorite so yay!

...until this region gives us a canon Skarmory pre-evolution. Looks like there may be a chance for new relatives of existing Pokemon, though, seeing as Rotom is confirmed - and in amazing and adorable style! I want a Rotom companion now. But... But... What does Lunara's ability DO??? O_o

To get hyped? That seems a bit silly considering how many cool things are hinted at already.
I AM more than a little hyped, it's just that Falchion's origin story had him exist as a noncanon baby form for his species. I would know that it isn't canon if we get an official Skarmory pre this gen.
But anyway, I'm still very, very excited about where this will go - I just feel like more info is needed soon. ^^;
The Sun Legendary is not only not Fire Type but is weak to it? What sort of witchcraft is this? And the Moon Legendary being weak to Dark? What?
Other than that though, I'm still excited. The new region looks gorgeous.
... a plot point to me. One I could've seen as fluke, but both legendaries weak to the type that should be most closely associated with them? Nah.
Crackpot theory: Solgaleo and Lunala are actually imprisoned in the sun and the moon, because the primordial Fire and Dark are the only things powerful enough to hold them. Shame Team Dummyhead are causing a permanent eclipse to free them (Solgaleo from the now-darkened sun, Lunala from the now-illuminated 'dark' side of the moon)!
