I'm not kidding, 'Replacement Dash and the Pony V-8 Machine' has a sequel now.
Apparently there are two other chapters in progress, so I'm not sure if it should go straight to Unclaimed Badfics or if it should stay on the Fics Under Surveillance page until it's finished. I do know that if and when it gets tackled, I'm adopting Gentle Butterwing (and renaming her). -

If someone else claims it, I'll volunteer Gilly and Fiona to tag along. If it's still open after a month or so, I will welcome all the help I can get. I just don't want to send Caroline and Veralyn in there again. I really don't think they can handle it.

I think that even Agent!Des, with his 'I'm not going to watch FiM, ever' attitude, and Anebrin, with his general ignorance of that canon, would be disgusted enough (and angry enough after the trauma of TSAB DOWNFALL) to help.

No, honestly, I don't know which is worse: the fact Aurora thought this was a good idea, or that so many people on Fim-fiction think it is also a grand idea. Kitty, this one is all on you. Have fun tackling this beast that refuses to die.
My gut reaction is to kill it while it is weak, but let's keep this under surveillance until she's good and finished. After all, while it is dark, it may well not be bad, per-se. If it has acceptable grammar and a better story, (HA! Like that would happen) then it should just be left for you to rage at.
(However, if it IS as bad as Rainbow Factory, then I would be happy to offer my services against this foul beast. A natural multiverse-traveler might help in explaining how the factory managed to return.) -

Don't get too carried away (like I did in the IRC). It serves no purpose to go after the author or the people who like the story.
I agree that we should watch it - although, quite frankly, the fact that it describes the disembowelment of a foal the way some dentists describe cavities makes me think it's bad enough to kill already.
I won't take this one on; I don't know how Veralyn and Agent!Caroline will come out of it with their sanity intact, and quite frankly, I've had enough of MLP badfics for a while. Whoever wants to take it down is welcome to, although my feeling is that this time the Factory is better guarded - it may turn into another group effort. -

...Rainbow Juicer was just not good! I have read good grim dark, and it just... was not. I started thinking about how the real Rainbow Factory would work, and the more I thought, the less sense it made. Plus, you and me are not the only ones who thought it was bad. Plenty of others did too. Now it sounds like they are going a more 'Cupcakes' route, which is even worse!
*sigh* I don't know, I'm not about to rant against the author or the readers more than I already have. I'm not going to say it to their face. It just seems that it is gore for the sake of gore, and if you want gore, put that in a different fandom, or at least put some effort into trying to make it sound logical that a pony would be gutting somepony up. But... That's just me. Perhaps it is a case of YKNMK, with more gore and less kink, but that does not help me against thinking that it is a bad story.
