Oberon the Fae King wishes to engage in combat!
Since it's been bumped off the front page again, have another link to the rules doc.
The next battles are:
-Desdendelle vs Fasoula
-Fasoula vs Scapegrace (exhibition match #1)
-Potentially Scapegrace vs foofooman3 (exhibition match #2)
Fasoula, when are you available?
When are you free SeaTurtle?
Any day after Monday and anytime after 7pm EST is good— but I remember you saying that it was quite late for you. Unfortunately, my schedule has changed somewhat and my free time has been reduced so it's a bit inflexible in that regard.
Well it looks like I've got to pull a couple of all-nighters anyway to get my dissertation done in time. Do you want to say 7:30pm EST on Wednesday?
...and I'll be good to go at that time. Sound good?

I mean, I was going to be having a rematch no matter who won that semifinal. Going to be honest and say I'm not sure who I'd rather of faced, both you teams scared me.
...that I should add Mons to my repertoire of magic expertise
Going into this tournament, all I was expecting to do was have some fun fighting with actual Pokemon in a friendly environment. To be honest I expected to be knocked out of the running after 1 or 2 rounds. So, onto my lineup.
First off was M-Gardevoir, who I dubbed Gothic Queen. I was going initial expecting to be the one who would wreck the most face. Sadly all she was really good for was throwing off a quick Focus Blast or Will 'o Wisp, though they still proved their worth.
Next was Azumarril, who I dubbed Ocean's Cure. As my only physical attacker, she was able to cut a nice whole in my opponets... If I was able to set her up that is.
Fairy Tail, ah yes Fairy Tail. My Togekiss was able to work her Serene Grace well (I do remember screams of Flinch-hacks from the audience). There were also excellent times when I was able to grab a few nasty plots to continue a solid sweep.
Forth off is Sylveon, who was dubbed Pixie Wolf. She played a swell support sub and occasional wall breaker. My favorite tactic was building up a calm mind and using her Baton Pass to switch into Clefable, who would proceed to reap the opposition.
For some reason My Keys became alive as a Pokemon called Klefki. I mainly used them to set up spikes and status effects with it's prankster ability, and let it suicide there. They were good for what they were being used for.
Rounding off my team was Clefable, of whom I lovingly dubbed Nanoha. She was excellent at making friends with who ever came her way, her Magic Guard ability shrugging off most status effects.
My sub was a whimsicot, named Afro, who I replaced with My Keys when facing ground teams, not that it mattered much. I find it stupid that I didn't give it a grass type move, for example grass knot, but y' win some y' lose some.
So, for those wondering who the hooded man facing them was, that was me, not wanting to be known as a fairy type man. Levy is already laughing at me as is.

...for the final battles.
Mattman— for a spot in the grand finals, I challenge you. What times will be convenient for you? I'm good from 18:30 EST onwards today and tomorrow.
Won't be on until 20:00 EST tonight. I hope that's not too inconvenient.
Ah, well. At least I can get back to work weeding out the kinks in this team. But, watch out! Next year, I aim to reclaim my rightful place on that bronze trophy!
P.S. Speaking of next year, Des left a suggestion for the next tournament's gimmick at the end of this battle. Does anyone else have any thoughts on what we might do? Personally, I'd love to see a Doubles tourney.
Never mind the fact I once got to 60th on the ladder for it, but it'd also be interesting to see the teams people come up with.
But as Des said, next year is a long time away...
Next year's a long time off. Best thing is to wait and maybe float the idea before the tourney — see what people like? It's to be seen who'd organise it, too.

I'm quite happy to battle with either my Monoground team or one of the other Montype teams I've got (Ghost, Water and Dark currently).
I have a bunch of team ideas, and I want to test them out, including a better-ish water team.
But Monday and Tuesday would be preferable, as the week may grow more problematic the later it gets.
As I told Scape, I'm available on Monday in the hours from 11 AM to noon EST, 2 to 3 PM, then any time after 5 PM. Tuesday, I should be available after 6 PM. I don't expect the rest of the week to be good because the semester is coming down to the wire and I'll be bogged down with schoolwork, but I may be able to make it work in a pinch.
*grumbles about the other half of the world*
Preferably around 11:00 your time (18:00 mine) or 14:00 yours (21:00 mine). Otherwise it grows a tad too late.
I won't be home until morning for you tomorrow, but I can make time pretty much all of Thursday, or I have the 11-noon block open again on Wednesday.
Forgot about an appointment I had, yesterday. Today I'm hungover.
Just let me know when you're free. I'll do my best to accommodate.
I expect to be free for the rest of the week. I'd rather that the battle would take place before midnight here (that is, before 17:00 EST).
My schedule is more or less open throughout the rest of today. Let me know when you can battle, and I'll meet you in Writing.
I'm ready and waiting. Or, rather:
My body is Regi.
Because today (11 AM EST) I'm gonna Regirock you like a Hurricane. >: D
Gliscor, have mercy on my poor soul.
