You may blame Delta Juliette for making this necessary. Or thank her, I suppose:

The Cyclopaedia will be updated in accordance, though the maps will probably take longer than the page names and such.

I've been working on Inglish heraldry for my (as-yet-undeveloped) Plort self and could use some advice. I've been having a hard time figuring out the blazon. I'm trying to suggest piano keys (because I'm eschewing symbolism in favor of literally drawing my username), and I don't know how I'd go about describing the spacing. Maybe I should just forget about it and use a pattern of door keys and wooden planks.
--Key, maybe a merchant, maybe a wandering minstrel, who knows; I had an idea but didn't write it down in time
... just cheat and blazon it as five piano accidental keys sable. It's what I did for Kaitlyn's shield, which features a fess sable with staff bearing a three-note arpeggio in G argent. It would probably be massively frowned on in formal heraldry, but this is the internet. ;)
I'll repost this, possibly with a rendering of your shield (I like to do them all myself, for some reason; possibly I just hate free time) on my most recent Wednesday Pluggage thread, in case you miss it.
hS
À bouche per pale dovetailed, urpure and arghent, a hand arghent and a winged serpent vantasable.
This is the only emblem of the vile C'l'br'n that is deemed printable by the college of arms. Representations of the 'dug and ice cream' standard are available to researchers by special request. Images of the 'staff and lavender' are illegal in the Union of Plort.
(Yes, the silver hand is a reference to Ithalond. Poor kid.)
hS, having way too much fun
Any ideas about turning Jay and Acacia's ecartled heraldries in something horrid (and fun) enough for Jaycacia? Come on, I'm sure you already thought about doing something like this.
That hadn't even occurred to me.
Lozenge vantasable, within a bordure enarched Orzure, a swordbow arghent strung with a ribbon urpure.
After the fall of Castle Harpwire and the flight of Jay and Acacia, a Marizu sorceress took up residence in their former home. Styling herself as their daughter, she has proven remarkably difficult to kill.
And so we continue the theme of 'Marizu do nothing sensibly'.
These are going up on the Cyclopaedia as pageless files; basically I'm turning the Marizu Heraldry category into a trap for the unwary, whose minds will never escape intact.
hS
Polish azule, chaussé bevilled vantasable, below a horse arghent passant bearing a sword Orzure and flail gewels bound in a cloth urpure, an inverted laurel wreath verzure.
Prior to her execution by Baron Huinesoron, the Marizu Laura was best known for her line of perfume, 'legolas, by laura'. Her coat of arms could charitably be described as complex, but why waste charity on a Marizu? It's a cluttered mess.
^_^ (Irritatingly, I actually quite like the design here, except for the Sue colours.)
hS
And assumes it is as unprintable as C'l'br'n's one. I like that name for it, actually, it sounds faintly Lovecraftian in its use of strange apostrophes. =]
It's pretty clear their coat features a rose - hence Lady Iximaz nicking it after she defeated them - but the details aren't anything I've thought about. I was vaguely wondering if Ix had any ideas, but... well, y'know.
I do think the six members would use the same shield, but with those ribbons that get used to distinguish which son you're talking about. Assuming Marizu could ever follow rules so closely.
hS
You'd think I'd remember, considering I betaed bits of that mission and cooked up one of the jokes in it. =]
But yeah, one assumes there's kind of a basic design, but with the different cultists putting their own spin on it, each one uglier than the last. Also, the sixth cultist definitely only has a half-shield. =]
Tudor arch vantasable, a rose urpure, crossed wands tenevert.
The Cult of Six Roses, slain by Lady Iximaz, are a group of Rule of Tincture-violating Marizu who deserved everything they got.
(The college of arms has Opinions.)
And for good measure, the six shields of the cult's leaders:
Including the half-shield, of course. ;)
hS
Think you can come up with Nova's?
Would Ix happen to have suggestions for LMM?
Additionnaly, would you, and Neshomeh, have any ideas for Subjugaton!glitterbags? Marizu who routed a full party of knights should have ther own horrifun heraldry.
Swiss per cross Orzure, ahgent, gewels and and azule, on a cross gewels with tartan gules, a heart urpure.
The pair of Marizu warlocks known as the Elemm share a single coat of arms, which purportedly symbolises their mastery over the elements. The shield is also used by the infamous Marizu 'education facility', Our Lady of the Urple Heart.
(I am a bad person for designing this. :()
hS
"They are those whom the Bow has broken, but who have themselves broken the Bow. I have pity for them and respect for the power they know not how to yield. And I have this to say for the schola diabolorum, Our Lady Of The Urple Heart:
"My arms bear the arms of that Baroness who raised me from squalor on the whim of a passing dream. She reclaimed it from your ilk. Though I do not doubt the sick and godless colour of your urple hearts...
"You are not my lady."
The Scape-Grace paused. A few of the more well-established barons with whom she had had dealings in the past looked a bit stunned.
"What, did you think I spoke like a stereotypical backwoods witch all the time? Kanun, no, it's murder on your throat."
I don't think I've read it, either.
It doesn't just have to be for legendary missions, either. Ooh, I should do one for Sairalinde...
hS
Stupid stuff on the shield because of malapropers — the original fic had quite a lot of those, including a "coup de tat"; something to maybe represent Shatner-levels of ellipsis abuse, too. Colours, well, the Sue had "heterochromia, one eye was a darker blue color, and the other was green blue". For devices, maybe something like a Sangheili head (the author had a positive boner for them if the writing's any indication) and a blue jewel for her Suedo-Device?
That sword in some of those pictures could work quite well. Does mean the whole affair will be very blue (blue sword, blue jewel, two blue colours for the background), but that would kind of fit with the malaprop thing.
How about an ellipse to be a malapropic ellipsis? >:D
hS
Cartouche azure, a saltire verzure, an energy sword celeste with handle azule, in chief a gem hevenlee.
There is a strong temptation to make a very American joke about it often being drawn with a 'saltine verzure' instead.
Also it's a Rule of Tincture-mangling nightmare of a shield, for all that it actually uses a real colour (azure). Though I shouldn't say that too loudly, blue and green is quite a popular combo in Plort it seems...
hS
This is a fantastic weaving of a true tale into the Plort setting. Thank you for sharing it (and for finally putting Tumblr on the map outside Plort, I've been getting twitchy about that).
(I want a Mood Mirror now. ^_~)
hS
Above, storm wind and rain blew, and the wanderer cut and drew her sails- flame painted- as needed, to keep on course. Below, waves crested and broke against the prow, and against each other.
Her recently joined companion- one she regretted- tried to spit at her when she tied a length of line near him.
"Soon I will be home and rid of you," she said, crossly. "Though, it is strange the seas are behaving so, don't you think?"
Her companion ignored her.
The twelve Barons of Plort, flagged over their baronial seats (including the one that's a burnt-out ruin). I imagine this model sits in the council chamber in Otik.
hS
You create it. You only have to follow the rules in the Heraldy section.
Give me a description and I'll draw it out.
hS
Field would be divided down the middle, a light Blue on the left, normal red on right. On the left, a white sickle charge, pointing downward. On the right, a black Blacksmith's Hammer charge, pointing upward.
Alternatively, a Blazon:
Per pale, Azure and Gules, between Sickle argent facing downward and a Blacksmith's hammer sable facing upward
~Mattman, hoping that makes sense
Per pale, Celeste and Gules, a sickle argent point downwards and a blacksmith's hammer sable head upwards.
That... looks very strange. I've spent enough time doing heraldry now that my brain isn't coping at all with the sable-on-gules over there. Very strange.
Anyway, was that what you were thinking?
hS
House Blackfyre uses the same type of colors for their blazon. And House Targaryen just inverse the colors.
(It still looks interesting though. You can be happy, Mattman)
One question: did you deliberately break the rule of tincture (with the black hammer on the red background), and if so, why?
(Well, they are called 'arms of enquiry' for a reason...)
Oh, also: did you want Azure, or Bleu celeste? It's very non-standard (we've had stains before, but not this), but I can do it if you want.
hS
An Alvish version of Ye Scape-Grace's arms would be handy. I only speak Inglish heraldry, so I apologise for the description.
Could the field be red, with the gold sickles forming a ring around the central boss, and the hammers growing from the handles please? I leave any further details at your discretion.
This does rather hinge on Baron hS actually deigning to do it, which may not be the likeliest outcome in human history. Oh well, worth a go. =]
Nis red, rena yellow: canta nastar alta tera, hammers forming the handles of gold sickles, which spiral in towards the centre.
Clearly Ye Scape-Grace thinks jewels (miri) are a waste of money, and flowers (indili) are frivolous.
Thoughts?
hS
And yeah, she... kind of does. Well, the only traditional one she'd have is the rose (for obvious reasons) and those are a real pain in the neck to draw, and while one assumes miri are there as representations of the stars in LotR-Elvish arms, the gold five-pointed star as a symbol may not be relevant in the cultural context of Critta-Kalthin's very own Jafar.
Hammers and sickles are used in Communist ideology to represent the union of urban workers and rural peasants in the overthrow of capitalism. This we can sort of get behind in terms of Ye Scape-Grace's life experience; there are workers and guild craftspeople and artisans and, yes, a large body of peasantry. I'm not seeing where the five-pointed star comes from other than the five components of the communist society, and frankly, it's not too likely that Ye Scape-Grace has formulated her version of Capital.
Flowers, on the other hand, well... we might be able to work braided ears of wheat into the design. Then again, who says we need to? It looks good, and the abnegation of the traditional elements of Alvish heraldic design works from a thematic standpoint. I like it how it is. =]
... is clip out Lady Iximaz's rose and put it in the centre. It seems like the sort of thing Ye Scape-Grace might do (similar to Hieronymus using Neshomeh's green on his coat). Though the fact that the sickles would all be pointing towards it might work against that.
Actually, it'll only take five minutes. So:
I widened the 'spiral' to fit the rose in the centre, but I think that might have been a mistake; it all looks very square now. The alternative is overlaying the rose on the blades, which hides their shape.
Or I could do tiny roses as miri, that could work. It's up to you, really: what do you want her to have?
hS
However, with the new design there's an, er... untoward element in the design that I've just noticed. Turn it through 45 degrees and you'll see it. Would it be possible to reverse the direction of the hammer-sickles? If so, I much appreciate it.
As for whether or not to include roses as miri, I think I'll go with that. It'd be a cool nod to her status as vizier and to her beliefs that she is a servant of the people first, and multiple roses would imply that rather nicely. =]
Dear Bad Guys,
Please make your symbols of evil extremely complicated so people don't accidentally draw them.
Signed,
Everyone.
So, uh... what was it you liked? XD Do you want the rose in the centre and little ones elsewhere, or were you thinking just the wider-spaced sickles and the miri?
(Also, by 'reverse the direction' do you mean mirror the whole image, or flip each hammer-sickle [which is a terrible weapon idea] separately? Either is fine, just need to know.)
hS
With the little ones elsewhere and the image mirrored. =]
Nis red, rena gold: canta nastar alta cuna, hammers forming the handles of gold sickles, which curve in towards the centre; canta miri, yellow roses; indil between the points of the sickles, large yellow rose.
Which was clearly not made by Baron hS, but by a Scape-Grace sympathizer in the college of arms. It features 'stealth points' like hS's and Kaitlyn's - he uses the elanor and mallorn 'miri' as extra points to sneakily mark himself as a Protector, and Kaitlyn's features the central twelve-pointed sun to mark a Duchess; this places the miri in such prominent positions that they resemble points, suggesting Ye Scape-Grace's status as a vizer. It also references Kaitlyn's baronial version (which actually uses flowers in those positions as points), which is probably a veiled insult of some kind. At least, Baron hS thinks it is, though he admits he's not sure how.
(Actually, it's the only place they fitted. No insults or references are intended.)
Yes/no/maybe?
hS
A conservative shield for Ye Scape-Grace? Perish the thought.
-BTA
It looks absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for doing this for me, it must have taken a lot of effort. =oD
Lessee if I get this right...
"Nis red, rena yellow; canta nastar alta cuna, golden sickles with hammers serving as their handles, crossed at the handle." Shapewise, his gives you something like this, which might/might not follow the rules, I'm not sure:
Something like this is possible:
Probably with more curve on the sickles.
Scapegrace, preference? (Also, circle or lozenge or don't care?)
hS
Also on a circle.
Thanks to both of you for offering up designs! I really appreciate it. =]
I'm still working on the background, but I've already the heraldry ready, so...
For Sir Hardric (Originality, yeah):
Shield design, per fess, argent with eagle displayed, wings elevated, gules, and sable, beneath a sword and pen crossed, argent, a twenty-faced dice, argent.
(You can send the picture at my mail, or point out any problem you see within this description.)
Is that what you were aiming for? (I'll do a proper version on Monday.)
Your blazon is pretty good; the main issue is with the colours. What I've drawn is:
Per fess, argent and sable, an eagle [displayed] gules with wings elevated, a twenty-faced die argent beneath a sword argent crossed with a pen argent.
You could specify the order of the sword and pen (by tagging one as bendwise), but you could also leave it to artist's discretion.
If something's wrong, let me know.
hS
And that's the thing I had in head, more or less. More than less. Now what is the issue with the colors?
hS
The main glitch was that you split the colours for the field into two separate places, rather than listing them together. I fixed it.
hS
I thought I needed to tell what was in the field immediately after defining them. Thanks for the fix.
I think I understood the general rules of it, and like the idea, but I don't have interesting ideas for it at the moment, although I think about using the colors of the Inglish heraldry for it. Would you have suggestions?
A few ideas:
-That d20 is just crying out to be used as an indil in fore.
-Feathers are always popular, and I don't think we've had any in red yet. You could angle them into an X rather than a + if you wanted to differentiate them from mine and Des's arms.
-You could have a 'circle' of swords, like the feathers on the Raven's arms. (Massive apologies, but I can't remember if you have Permission yet; I'm not sure whether to aim for four points or eight.)
-That ornate eagle tail could actually make a very nice point by itself. The curls could then semi-enclose any other designs.
If you want, I can mock up a couple of ideas (once I know how many points I need!); it's fun and my brain needs a break from everything else sometimes.
hS
1°) That seems like a good idea. Should have thought about it sooner.
2 , 3, 4°) All of these ideas have got merits and are appealing. However, it will be four points only. Although I was given Permission last December (and knew this during my birthday :)), and I've wrotten three stories until now, yor Heraldry guide says that barons are the ones who can use eight points, not the knights.
Feel free to think about it, hS. You'll have your relaxing fun, and me a great heraldry. Perfect win-win situation.
Ner white, rena black: canta nastar alta tera, red heraldic eagle tail; canta miri, crossed white sword and red-tipped white feather; indil in fore, white twenty-sided die.
It looks... interesting. Not particularly elvish, what with the lack of nature themes; in that respect, the stark black and white really ties into the whole design. Very heraldic, at any rate.
(Apologies for the stupidity about points; my head wasn't thinking straight.)
hS
If you've got other ideas you're playing with, I'll be happy to see them too, but this one seems perfect to me. No obviousature theme feels weird for an elvish design I guess, but this one is excellent. Thanks again.
The only other idea I really had was enlarging the tails to make them more the centrepiece, but if you like this one, then I won't muck about. ^_~
hS
Why is Kaitlyn the only one to have her Elvish heraldry (as opposed to English-style)?
Her Alvish heraldry is the big blue circle thing.
What she is is the only baron to have chosen a lozenge, rather than a shield, for her Inglish coat of arms. In fact, I think it's the only Inglish lozenge on the list. We've got a few ovals, and Neshomeh's curly shield, but that's it. (Which is entirely fine by me; shields are easier.)
Yes, Inglish and Alvish. I had to call them something.
It's also quite nice that the non-voting baron has a different (and smaller) shield, but that's a pure quirk of luck.
hS
Can I change mine?
... I mean, sure. ;)
What to?
hS
The Inglish one to "Argent, a raven volant sable". The Alvish one to "Ner silver, rena blue; canta nastar alta tera, raven feather with grey highlights; canta nastar nica, curled olive branch; indil woven with stems of feathers, circular olivine braid".
TL;DR: the greying, and switching flails for olive branches.
I mean, whatever works best.
Over on the Cyclopaedia. How does that look?
(The Raven Volant has also been changed, but blue > black was pretty easy, so.)
hS
Are RPGs, the game systems, included in the art of Arpying? And would a Plort version of Gygax exist?
Is creating new things for the world of Plort OK? Like new (small) nations on the continent of Weab and maybe going slightly more deeply into the practices held within certain members of the Are-Pea Alliance. I've got a post I'd like to do, but I want to check I'm allowed to do certain things within it first.
And as I said to Ekyl, I'd rather people put them on the Board, not straight onto the Cyclopaedia.
Also, like it says somewhere: only if you've got a connection to it.
hS
The biggest library of Arpying in Plort is in Keep De'endee. It includes with the complete works of masters such as Gaigacks and Arrenson.
I think that answers both your questions. ^_^
hS
Now I have to think about names for the Fate system and Persona.
I've been wanting to get involved with Plort. Should I just set up a profile and go? Or is there a process? I'd be a civilian, of course, but since I'm hoping to become a knight someday, would that make me a page? If so, should I attach myself to a knight? Sir Ekyl seems to be putting together a militia; should I ask them? Or would it go by Big Sib/Little Sib pairs? I don't have a Big Sib, but I could join House Skull Goblet, Kind Words and a Two-by-Four, or Darjeeling.
--Key is excited
*I don't mind people creating their insert out-of-season. You can set up a page for it yourself, or post the tale of Cat-on-the-Keyboard here and I'll put it in the Cyclopaedia.
*When/if you get Permission, Plort!you becomes a knight, so there's no defined process your character has to follow prior to that (other than the stuff around the Knights' Road). If you want to call yourself a page, squire, protoknight, or swordling, you can go ahead.
*Plort reflects the community. If your insert is attached to Sir Ekyl, you should probably have some connection to Ekyl yourself (though it's not really required). Similarly, your residence should be based on what you do most in the PPC community: are you on the Board, RPing, working on the Wiki, or chatting with people on Google Talk or whatever?
*There's a beginner's guide which is good to know about. (And yes, you're allowed to establish new locations in your origin story, though make sure they fit the theme...)
*I don't really know what Ekyl's up to; he's trying to establish himself as the centre of off-Board activity in the PPC, if his character's actions are to be believed.
*I need to make a Cyclopaedia page for heraldry. Gah.
Poke poke.
What I meant was: I don't really understand why Ekyl is pushing for Sir Ekyl to be a central figure in the Riding of Sittorese ('writing of [PPC] stories'), when so far as I'm aware Ekyl isn't particularly involved in cowrites and their related chats.
Though of course you were in Godreve before the Riding existed, and the people who are doing lots of cowrites are mostly hanging out in Barony Iximaz on the far side of the map.
I'm getting a "no battle plan survives contact with the enemy Board" feel here.
hS
I do have stuff I'm working on, to be fair, and as for co-writes, it's not like anybody's really invited me to work with them or anything. Though I'll grant I basically only just popped in after months of being busy elsewhere.
As for the character, he's just ambitious, maybe a bit of a jerk, and takes what opportunities he sees to build his power base. :P
You see, for a small fee of 700 gold, I can give you suitable documents that will make you a proper knight. :)
(I'm kiddin', btw. All I remember doing was writing my introductory post, with a short backstory of this guy and that was it.)
Are we allowed to add new stuff to the wiki if we have ideas and it doesn't contradict anything already available, or does it have to wait to come up in threads and such?
With her departure, shouldn't we find a replacement for her?
The young woman shivered slightly and pulled the cowl of her cloak further over her head, hunching her shoulders against the chill.
Her horse nickered lightly, sensing her master's discomfort. The rider sighed and patted the horse's neck, letting her hand rest under the mane where it was nice and warm.
"I know, Farilan," she murmured. "But we're not going back. Got places to go, people to meet, trouble to get into. Maybe visit Doktaru, see if we can't do something about the Marizu threat in the west. Besides, Foon can take care of himself and the keep, and last I heard, Baron Phobos was planning to rule in my stead." She turned to look at the ocean behind them. Not even the monolithic Larninkurv Mountains could be seen now. Here in the Northern Wastes, it finally hit her how alone she was. "I don't always agree with him, but I think it will be okay. I mean, everyone got on just fine before my arrival." She sighed. "Yeah, we don't need to go back." She hesitated, then patted the mare's neck again, sighing heavily. "At least, not yet."
Lady Iximaz urged her horse into a canter, resuming her ride along the base of the mountains. She was soon swallowed by the night.
...
...
...
...
Or, in other words, permaleave has become temporary hiatus. Dunno how long it'll be, but not forever.
*bows to Delta Juliette*
*vanishes once more*
Give hell to the Marizu, lady Iximaz. You can return any mment you want.
(Farilan as a horse... Am I the only one finding this funny as hell. XD)
That there was a requirement for a fixed number of barons. Need I remind you that the last election added three barons to the total?
Signed, Thanasius Ampelius
I am merely concerned about the prospect of leaving her lands ungoverned. Should they simply be absorbed into Phobos' barony?
... when its baron has not been seen nor heard from in Plort for a period of one year, such a decision being made at the scheduled Baronial Council. So spake Bast in her Edict long ago.
(ie, this is my method for dealing with vanishing PGs. It may actually be longer; I said when I dissolved Barony Makari.)
(And this is not Baron Me politicking; it's a formal statement from whoever's in charge of the Edict. Dunno who that is.)
hS
I will gladly take stewardship of Baron Iximaz's lands until her eventual return to our shores.
-Baron Phobos
"Tha mayst have ya'sen all the gold an' deeds of all o' the Baronies, but th'art never my Master. Nor art tha master o' Critta-Kalthin, nor the river as runs through it, nor the sea as lies about it. The lady Iximaz is not lost to us, and the Venturesome Companies'll not recognise another until she be kilt. Steward away if tha must, sir Baron, but tha has no power here."
((Ye Scape-Grace is, er, a little... protective.))
I would never dream of such a thing. Having a jester is such a chore, after all. You must feed them and walk them. And one never knows when they will chew the furniture. Far more trouble than it is worth, in my opinion.
As for the rest, I care not for the river and the sea. They have cared for themselves this long, and do not require my attention to continue doing so. The Venturesome Companies will likewise tend to themselves. Critta-Kalthin, however, is of much greater interest. I have always enjoyed the fine art of the city.
-Baron Phobos
((Baron Phobos is, as always, a jerk.))
... Ye Scape-Grace dressed in an ultra-tattered version of Sarah's costume from Labyrinth, what with that 'no power' line.
Also this means I'm required to imagine Phobos dressed as Jareth.
My mental image is quite deliberately cut off at the waist.
hS
Replacing her like this is pretty cold.
Hardric, who need to begin working on his Plort profile too.
Greetings, Sir Ekyl of Godreve. I am Matthias Snow, newly named Knight from the town of Tumblar.
As you may have already heard, Baron Dann has named themself Baron Juliette the Forth. I would not normally be contacting you upon this simple matter, however the politics of Tumblar has led to much rejoicing on the matter, and I have once more discovered why exactly Dame Wandering Winterwood has nicknamed the area "Ye Olde Mob Rental."
Indeed I have found myself entrapped within my place of business, and I request assistance as soon as you can manage. Included is a map towards my Forge from the entrance to Tumblar from Godreve Road. I can apply arts of beytah on your arrival should you need it.
~Sir Matthias Snow, wishing godspeed to both you and this Pigeon on which my letter of knighting has arrived.
Does Tumblar not have its own peacekeepers? I can send some of my men to help disperse the crowd if need be, unless there is anything else you need? Don't worry, order will be restored swiftly enough.
Tumblar's current peacekeeping system is loose at best, and while it's vigilante forces are numerous and powerful, all they have been doing are stoking the figurative flame, political views and stuff. While I do have my weapons on hand, I do not find it worth while to take arms alone.
So yes, a good amount of your own men should be of use.
~Sir Matthias Snow, who's going through on hand records for fellow Knights in his immediate area.
I shall send some of my men-at-arms, and a portion of Godreve's militia, to restore peace to Tumblar. These are able men, veterans of many campaign seasons with me, and should be able to bring the mob to heel without anyone being seriously hurt. If you can, send correspondence to the town's leaders, and tell them to look for the sight of men marching under the crowned bull; they will work with local authorities to bring about order, and I'm confident this matter shall be resolved soon. Let it be known that, in my capacity as deputy to Baron Cassie, I strongly suggest they get their act together, and have their peacekeepers start actually doing their jobs.
((I have no idea what this translates to OOC, but hey))
And would like to know: how would you like the records updated? I shall set my best scribes to the task, once I know what it is.
~Baron Neshomeh
You have my very preemptive apologies, I'm sorry for the size of a mess that name and pronoun changes have on a wiki.
The works I've contributed to PPC canon can stay as-is: I'm pretty sure that Agent Dann is not trans, or at least has no interest in changing name or pronouns.
As far as references to myself go, I would be fine with redirecting my current name page to a new one with a note on names and pronouns. I'm pretty much open about being trans, both online and off, so I'm definitely not going to insist on retconning all references to me, or anything like that.
I can certainly contribute time to making the edits as well, when I finally get an evening free - I'm afraid that life is trying to eat all of my spare time at the moment.
It'll take a while for the wiki to update the search function, but.
Per the story, the situation is similar to the Board - there was Baron Dann, and now she is Baron Juliette. So it's only the places where the baron is mentioned in the present/continuous tense that needed changing; historical references stay as they are. And the good news is, you never did much in the Plort setting, so...
I then went ahead and updated the maps, too, so Barony Juliette is done out in a lovely Juliette Pink. It probably clashes horribly with everything, but that's politics for you. ;)
(Thank you both for the offer, though. It's appreciated.)
hS
I meant the main wiki, and co-writes and stories on my site and the Lost Tales. *hides face in shame* Not that I WOULDN'T help out on the Plort wiki if asked. I'm thinking of more PPC-wide author attributions and such, though. Sorry. {= (
~Neshomeh
The Plorting confused me, I guess. I see it now.
hS
