Hello everyone. I had written a fanfiction that may help from beta-reading. It has already been posted to FanFiction.net, however, so if I post it here, I might be advertising it instead of posting for beta-reading. So, is advertising, or linking fanfics here legal? Or should I e-mail the fic to anyone willing to offer a hand? And how is the actual process of getting a beta reader anyway?

You could post it here still asking for critique! And I'm sure one of us will be glad to give that to you and possibly sign on to beta read the rest of it.
That's basically it - you approach someone and ask if they can beta read something for you. Not very hard, really. :D
