Guess that you cannot always do as you would. Still, I'm sorry for you.

Guess that you cannot always do as you would. Still, I'm sorry for you.
Since it's been bumped off the front page again, have another link to the rules doc.
The next battles are:
-Storme Hawk vs SeaTurtle
-Hardric vs SkarmorySilver
-Voyd vs DCCCV — DCCCV, you have until tomorrow to finalise the time of your match with Voyd, lest you be disqualified.
-Data Junkie vs Desdendelle
My internet will be very spotty over the next while. So I am going to withdraw from the tournament.
I was wondering if you would be up for an exhibition match with our Monotype teams. Any time you're free, hmu. =]
I meant to ask for an exhibition match you after your last battle. I'd really been looking forward to battling you before you were knocked out. What do you say?
I would pay to see that. Do not let that give you nasty ideas.
Seriously, I'll hope you'll do this match.
He's Boomstick and I'm Wizard and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armors and skills to determine who would win, a Death Battle.
Where Hardric s put to rest for good.
(I want the head of the guy who created the Magic Guard ability.)
Those couple of turns where you tried to TWave/Whirlwind Mega Sableye — were you predicting a switch?
Also, about Hawlucha: it's a good idea to put 4 EVs in HP so it can get Unburden from two Subs (assuming you're running Sitrus Berry + Substitute and not, say, Normal Gem + Quick Attack or Power Herb + Sky Attack).
My default course of action is to try and inflict a status on the 'mon in play, heal off any damage they inflict, and then smash 'em to kingdom come. Unfortunately, that kinda makes me a one-trick Ponyta in terms of strategy, and the muscle memory thing doesn't help at all. This isn't the first time Magic Bounce turned this strategy against me, you know. XD
I'll keep your advice in mind should I use Hawlucha in next year's tourney ;) In retrospect, I should've taken a cue from you and put Drain Punch on Moctezuma for both damage and healing, but that probably wouldn't have mattered in this case because Ghost is immune to Fighting anyway.
Is to run a set like this:
Hawlucha @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
- Acrobatics
The 12 HP EVs, as mentioned, are there to make Hawlucha's HP divisible by 4 so you could get proc Unburden and get a boosted Acrobatics with two Substitutes. If your opponent breaks your sub in one hit, you sub twice then use Acrobatics or Drain Punch. If your opponent doesn't break your sub in one hit, you Swords Dance as much as possible without taking a hit — Hawlucha hits like a truck after one SD boost and basically outspeeds everything that doesn't carry priority. The other thing to watch out for, of course, are 'mons that carry sound moves like Hyper Voice and 'mons with Infiltrator. Hawlucha also doesn't like statusers with priority (anything with Prankster, basically).
Ready when you are, Stome Hawk. Currently waiting in Writing, so just wander over there and let's get this party started!

Close and well fought. Good luck to SeaTurtle in the losers bracket.
Go for the gold! May your Excadrill's Iron Head carve a path to glory.
...and now to pull out Banzai the Torterra and give him some love for our upcoming match. Poor thing has been benched up until now.
Fasoula, I have pretty much all friday to battle. Do you have any other ideas for times?
That depends on whether or not I can crunch out this research paper in time. If I manage it, I'll be available after 5 PM EST. I'll notify you here, then meet you in the Writing room. How does that sound?
... Just in time for Friday to end. Is there any other time you're available? I'm free all weekend.
I will be on around 4 o' clock Pacific. That good?
I am going to be leaving home in the morning and have no idea when I will be getting back. Once again, I'll let you know on the Board if I'm here in time.
At this point though, it seems the progression of the rest of the tournament is hinging on us getting on with our match, so I may just copy my team to my mobile so we can battle on the go. I'd hate this tournament's thrilling conclusion to be delayed much longer because of my inconvenient schedule.
Good game, DC. Wish you the best!
Considering my limited Internet time, my dad's strictness, and my tendency to flake...
I'm going to give it to DC. I have the attention span of a magpie. So—
OH IS THAT A SHINY PATHFINDER BOOK?
You are forfeiting the match?
Guess that you cannot always do as you would. Still, I'm sorry for you.
DCCCV, you're up against Fasoula.
I sorta lost the thread.
I'll get online as soon as I wake up, assuming I don't get kidnapped by my parents and forced to do anything.
I'm ready whenever you get online. I may step away for a minute to do some dishes but I'll be back soon, so if I don't immediately reply, just give it a minute. You can find me as Junkieofdata in the Writing and Tournament channels by the way.
I've got work in the morning and it's 2 am here so I need to go to bed.
I kind of went to bed earlier than expected — couldn't keep my eyes open.
I'll be online for the next several hours, and all of tomorrow, so whatever works.
