Hey folks, sorry for the long disappearance but my life's been pretty thoroughly consumed by college and such. What've I missed?
I remember an Ekyl from the IRC ages ago, but I thought that I also remembered the name being tied to the baorder Name blipped. You're welcome. ~Nameless Admin. Is that the case or was I mixing up two completely different dudes?
The whole reason behind the switch was basically taking my real name out of public view.
In fact I'm sure of it. Why I recognize it, though, that I am less sure of. Initial brain-wracking suggests something to do with math.
As to what's happened, I'm afraid I can't tell you much. I only started posting last month, and before that I wasn't paying particularly close attention.
Anyway, take this this Replica Holocron, perhaps it will entertain you during your archive trawling.
Hope you've been doing well. As someone with his college years not too far in the past, I can relate to feelings of life-consumption.
I'm in Boston College these days, so I'm in a better place than this time last year at least. Maybe when I get a bit I'll finally update some of those stories I was keeping you in the loop about.

Some of the things I've noticed:
* The IRC is gone and, accordingly, Iric in Plort is fallen (why?)
* Iximaz is leaving at least temporarily
* Something about new RPs?
* Discussion about how HQ's economy works
* hS still does Wednesday plugs
* A boarder I never met has passed on :(
* Stuff
Just gone from the Board header because it's basically deader than disco — most of the time there's nobody there. The channel is still up, though.
The channel only exists when someone is in there. There are no more official Ops, no Bot, the channel has even be de-registered. I dunno when it happened, but I logged into Mibbit one day and it was gone. So personally, I just kinda gave up on it.
And I'm the only one in the room, so.
Disappointing, of course, but it's been years since people really used the IRC.
Did you have to trawl through six months or so of archives to get that information?
If you did, I will laugh heartily.
Anyhow, those were observations from the very start of the archive trawl.
