Every writer in the Hobbitfics I've read is antagonising Dáin II Ironfoot because of reasons as well as every Thorin/OC fic is removing the importance of Thorin III Stonehelm by having their OC be the mother of the last reincarnation of Durin and yeah, I know Lee Pace's Thranduil was a dick but I don't think he's a villain.

These are a salty noodle's words because she's reading an eighty six chapter fic where her special snowflake OC who has Thorin, Beorn, Thranduil, Legolas, and Dáin lusting after her. And she's twenty two years old but looks to be fourteen. Also, why does she have to look like Legolas' mother? I've been screeching like a pterodactyl since a while ago.

I'm a Thorin/OC writer, but it's also a challenge for me to see if I could come up with decent characters and not characters like this Special Snowflake. And so far, I think I'm alright. Anyway, I'm a very salty noodle right now since this OC is meant to save the Durin sons and she's so whiny and incapable of defending herself.

Oh yeah, special snowflake OC has been given super powers by the Valar for....reasons I guess. She's basically a Maia now with her power. ...ing hell. You know, the blessing of the Valar could have sufficed since that means they approved of your quest to save the Sons of Durin. But no, they had to give that OC powers. If you are capable of saving these three dwarves, you won't need powers, you will prove yourself capable of defending your wards. Not dependent on THEM to protect you.
