Left handed people have, or so I've been told, a tendency to hook the hand so that the hand holding the pencil is above the line currently being written, rather than level with the line. I do that, as well, hooking my right hand so that the point of the pencil is between my hand and my body.

It causes me to form letters oddly. I tend to start some letters in places that my teachers found to be weird. It has often been noted that, in particular, I write my lowercase 'e' backwards.
