I love these two so much. Their dynamic is perfect, and you can practically see thoughts and ideas bounce from one to the other in a way that's incredibly fun to read. Ix and Charlotte are both such great characters on their own, and putting them together just ramps up the fabulous factor exponentially.

^^; I'm so glad you liked them! I think I'll be alternating in the future, so the next mission will be Ave and Zeb, then I'll be rolling these two out again. I'm already looking forward to it. :)
Didn't mean to scare you away, but I'm excited for any mission you post! I need to catch up on the rest of Ave's stories, though, so I'll be doing that now... *scurries off*

The Sue s so stupid, and half of the things which could e used aren't 'legal' because of the date.
Still, it was nice discovering more about your new agents. Now, how Ix will react to the differences between movieverse and bookverse once she knows more about them?
Still, she provided plenty of charged without the publication date posing a problem, so all's well. :P
Ix is... going to have a fun time with the werechihuahua, I can already say that much. :P
Also, I think Jay and Acacia might soon be eclipsed as my favourite agent pair...

I was really neat to see Ix confronting the movieverse with the world she knows. ^_^
For some reason, my favourite part was her flailing her arms randomly at the Sue. It reminded me of

Always fun to see newbies learn the ropes, and it's always good to see you in the Potterverse. Both of them at the same time is honestly leaving me somewhat speechless.
About how long had you been working on these agents before finally getting a mission out with them?
Actually, if I'm to dig deeper, how many agents do you have bouncing around your skull, normally?
...written down as vague concepts with sweeping generalizations for about seven moths or so, but it was only within the last two that I started nailing down their personalities.
And I don't have any other agents in mind at the moment; I'm pretty happy with what I've got right now.
Contentment's always nice.
Actually regarding the story, you did the newbie incompetence thing quite well. Exposition about the words and whatnot fit into character, without it feeling like I've been taken aside and given a manual, which is brilliant. Pet-peeve and all.
Also, I just saw an instance of 'bogue,' in dialogue on page 7.
A large part of me thinks you misspelt bogus, but there's a small, if powerful minority that wishes 'bogue' was a real word outside of Urban Dictionary.
Although a weird word.
And, yeah, maybe Dictionary.com isn't the best dictionary ever, but I haven't seen it make any obvious mistakes, unlike some supposedly reliable dictionaries I could mention.
