I just got back from the Thursday night showing of the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. I liked it a lot, though it definitely shared many of the same Dark Knight series pitfalls, it wasn't as awful as Man of Steel.

THE GOOD
Gal Gadot -- I do not lie when I say that every moment she is on the screen, the movie instantly improves. Wonder Woman is perfect and fantastic, there was no heavy handed romance with her, and she kicked major butt.
Shirtlessness -- I'm sure that rippling muscles (or Lois Lane in a bathtub) appeals to a varied audience.

THE BAD (SWEARING)
Where the ... were my five Robins? I demand a true dawn of justice.
The action, when Gal was not there to break it up/make it better, felt like it dragged on a little bit.
The senator from Kentucky (a democrat who went to UofL) had the wrong accent and that really ruined all of her scenes for me.
Lex Luthor was played up a little to much for my tastes. I might just be used to a Smallville Lex but Eisenberg's portrayal strayed into Jared Leto as an Edgy Joker territory.

THE WEIRD
What was up with that time travel thing because that ruined the pacing of the movie and might have been far better as an after-credit scene.
Superman is not dead. No comic book death is sacred/meaningful, as proven BY SUPERMAN. Historically, Superman is the first big superhero to die in comics. Historically, he's the first to come back to life after dying. So Superman dying is the worst fake-out ever because they played it up enough with the nuke.

Does anyone else have any thoughts?
