Like, I get that Old Man Drumpf the hobo is a fan favourite, but writing him like this just destroyed his character. Send in the DMS. =]
(also is anyone else mad that the writers had this biiig, big arc for the first 33 seasons of NuEarth and they had this enormous sequel hook off the end with JC's big ol' I WILL RETUUUUUURN thing and they've done nothing with it? srsly tho wth is up with that...) -

I've not watched many of his episodes, but isn't he basically a combo of Nigel and Boris from the UK side of things? Y'know, mixing 'I hate everything so love me' with 'I have truly awful hair and no people skills'? I get that the writers like to use Britain as a testbed, but isn't this a bit too blatant?
(I know quite a few people who are really ticked off by that. ^_~ But be fair, they haven't done 'nothing' with it - they've used it to fuel a whole lot of character drama in people who think he's coming back right now. I spent a few years bingeing reruns of seasons 1830-1844 or so, it was a major plot point for a few characters back then.)

I mean, Paul was saying he'd be back by about season FIFTY! Plus the stuff in the 1200-1300 seasons, all the drama between Richard and Saladin... yeah.
