Most of my work history has been things that I wasn't interested in. It happens.

Kelly isn't passionate about the fandoms, but working for the PPC has its perks. She enjoys the part where she gets to actively look for the flaws in a work and complain about them. She doesn't mind the part of the job where she's told to do the equivalent of High School required reading. Half of the time, she'd be relying on her partner for the canon knowledge part. I like stories where one member of the team doesn't really know the canon, it gives opportunities to really explain the canon breaks to the audience.

I did have a character concept that I ran by Desdendelle. The character wanted to be an agent, but the symptoms of his disorder made him into a ticking time-bomb that could potentially get both him and his partner killed. I didn't get to explain the specifics before Desdendelle said something like 'If they want to work in the field, they get to work in the field. The only reason for not making them agents is if they're under 13.' Is that right, or would the Marquis de Sod steer someone away from the field if they're unsuitable?

I'm not sure about whether or not bears can sneak, but I can drop the concept.

Pointing out that they're robotic and giving pointers to avoid that is very constructive.

I did get things clarified, I think. I still think that the non-canonical technology could be blamed on Kelly's boss being a Sue, but I'm still working on removing it. I'm also reworking the recruiting agents so that they're not lazy, incompetent, or too overworked to do it properly.

I did ask for what you are looking for in her bio... I keep seeing what you aren't.

I did clarify that TBD was supposed to be “someone's idea of a perfect agent” and that it includes flaws and things that can go horribly wrong. I thought that she would be Sueish if I abused the technology to have her suddenly know Kung-Fu like in The Matrix. Now that I know that at it's base, the Dollhouse technology would be against the ethics of the PPC even when used with good intentions, I know not to go in that direction.

For Team Phoenix, I did not actually read the page. I probably got to that story originally through the list of PPC characters, and wouldn't have read it if I had seen the crossed-off links. I just read the first line there to make sure it was what I was thinking of.
