I saw the USS Iowa, which was nice. Wound up getting a gash in my hand from a palm tree, which I proceeded to swear even more than usual at. It's all kind of a blur, though since the TSA wouldn't let me take my sleep meds. We mostly went for my Dad, though. He was running in the LA Marathon as part of his physical rehab. If this seems disjointed and twitchy, it's because I'm running on -3 days worth of sleep, and enough caffeine/sugar to kill an elephant. They had good tea down there, so I just couldn't stop drinking it.
