I think they made the Last Stand levels harder for the sequel. Whose bright idea was it to program one with only imp cannons and swashbuckler zombies, anyway? *seething*

Chicken Wrangler zombies and those bloody weasel zombies can all go die in a lightning storm.

Aside from that, I like the new strategies that come from getting certain plants earlier, the updated Zen Garden/Plant Food mechanics, and I'm particularly grateful that they kept the exploit where a catapult plant works on snorkel zombies. :)

Fist of all, because EA bought PVZ, nobody from the original team made this. I like the design and all, but I honestly prefer the older game. The music in the first few eras are remixes of the original music, and you eventually get annoyed aby the third time you hear "Cowboy Brainiac Maniac". It just takes away from the amazingness of the original. Other than that, the game's quite nice.
