I came out to have a good time, and I was honestly feeling so attacked when I saw what happened.
Scape and I have since settled things, however, and I will be co-writing the mission with her once I come back from DC after Christmas. Thanks to all of you guys and gals for your help regarding this matter!

Here we go, my first time doing this... Ahem...
Basically, there's a gap in the list of missions for Rashida and Sarah, supposedly for a mission that took place at about the same time as my co-write with eatpraylove ("Pilot"). I was going to fill that gap another co-write with someone else, but things didn't work out for us. However, I didn't want to leave the gap un-filled, so after like a year of procrastination, I decided to go combing the Pit just the other day to find old badfics from the fandoms I'm familiar with.
And I came across THIS:

Yes, it's exactly as bad as it sounds. Urple prose almost ripped from the first Twilight book, stupid Mary Sue OC, and shameless inserting the PJO characters into the Twilight canon. The only good thing is that the Sue's replaced the role of Bella, but that's not saying much.
So, since it's old, and Rashida knows PJO, I thought this would be perfect. I'm a little rusty with Twilight, though (haven't read it in years), so I suppose I could use a hand with both keeping Sarah in check and canon knowledge.
With this in mind, I would prefer co-writing with someone whose agents fit the following three criteria:
- They were active during November of 2014, which is when the mission takes place,
- At least one of them knows the Twilight continuum, and
- They work in either the DF or the DIC.
If any of you are interested in giving a birb a hand, please shoot me an e-mail (I've made my username clickable). Keep in mind that I'll be busy with relocating to Washington DC over the next few weeks, but I'll be sure to work something out with you.

To say thank you to Skarm for being so gracious as to accept my apology, and to say thank you to everyone else around here. I know I'm not an easy person to get along with sometimes, and I know I can be vicious, petty, and spiteful. Throughout my time here, I have been made to feel welcome, and even liked.
You deserve better treatment than this from me, and issues or no, you will get it from here on out.
Let's see if we can't get a halfway interesting mission out of you when you've got a bit of adult supervision. =]
Yes, my language was undiplomatic. But Skarm has said to me that he wants to improve, and he's not going to improve without a serious going-over by someone with a different approach to mission writing. Skarm has a lot of bad habits, and what he needs to cure most of them is a hatchet woman to edit him down.
That all said, it doesn't really matter what I think about his missions. I'm hardly in line for a Booker Prize on the evidence of my few attempts at PPC writing. So, all I can do is apologise. I'm sorry for being a dick to you, Skarm. You deserve better than that.
... you keep doing it. It's excellent that you're willing to admit fault and apologise every time, but... you keep doing it again. I can't think of anyone on the Board who has had to apologise so many times for this sort of thing. (Not saying there haven't been any - but I can't think of any.)
Which, by and large, is because the people who've done it refused to admit they were doing so, and ended up leaving. So again, I absolutely commend you for backing down so well every time.

And it's not one I can solve without professional help. Doesn't help my anger that, should I be prescribed medication for my anger issues and generally-horrible-person issues, I'll be forced to hide it at my girlfriend's place because of my parents' attitude to pills. I'm terrified of slipping up, because I slip up all the time, and there's probably going to come a point where even Ix runs out of patience with my crap.
I'm really sorry. I'm not a good person. I'm barely a person. And I say things that are far more harsh and insulting than I mean for them to be.
And I should probably shut up now and stop boring everyone to death with my putrid bloody whining.
We've all got issues. But that doesn't mean we use them as an excuse to get away with calling people nasty names or making improper remarks as to their writing ability. No, I don't particularly get along with SkarmorySilver either, but that doesn't mean I go jumping at the request for a cowrite only to say "Your writing needs serious work and you suck but don't worry because I can make it better!" I leave him alone, he leaves me alone, everyone's happy. You and I both know you only volunteered your 'services' because you saw an opportunity to go for the jugular.
I get it. You have problems. Believe me, I know you need help and you're not getting it.
But you've got to stop it with this passive-aggressive bullcrap. You do this every single time: You take a swipe at a Boarder you either don't like or because you've perceived an innocent comment to be a direct personal attack, and then when someone, usually me it feels like, calls you out, you apologize and pull the "I Have Issues" card.
This has to stop.
That nobody ever called you on this stuff, and just let you carry on being nasty? 'Cause that's what people who don't give a crap would do. Ix, it seems, gives a crap about you. Would you kindly not twist caring into an excuse to beat yourself up?
Don't forget that you always have a choice. Your demons will try to convince you that you don't, but they're demons. They lie.

My depressive urges would. They're not me. It's tough not to listen to the little excrescences sometimes, because it never, ever stops, but that is no reason not to try.
Ix, I'm sorry for that. I don't offer my issues as an excuse, but a reason. I don't think for a moment they make what I do acceptable. I also realise that this is still blaming my issues, and it does still have to stop. I'm just... not good at that yet. I'm sorry.
