...the All-Purpose Department.
Because they are specialized in certain rare fandoms that do not have their special divisions yet, but those fandoms contained various types of badfics? (Mary Sue, Bad Slash, Implausible Crossovers, etc. )
Yeh, I saw on the Wiki page that agents in the Department Of Floaters can be those who kill badfics in canons that are not covered by regular agents, so maybe agents that are specialized in rare fandoms can become a Floater.
However, somewhere on the Board, I remember about a Permission Giver saying that Floater agents do not specialize in anything, and deal with missions of all continuums and types.......
I am quite confused about it. Would someone offer an answer to me?
...the All-Purpose Department.
But agents in that department only deal with ONE fandom. What if an agent is specialized in more than one rare continuums, but do not want to limit him/herself to any single one of them? Will Floaters be appropriate under such a condition?
... create an All Purpose Department Sub-Department of Rare Fandoms?
Ultimately, the answer is yes, Floaters would technically be appropriate. But if you say they're in Floaters and then insist on killing a Suvian every mission... well.

But it will be too rare that no one can be found in it?
Never mind. Guess said agents in my examples will be okay for Floaters.
is that the Floaters are exactly that; they 'float' from one type of mission to another, to aid the teams which need assistance. The Floaters can be send to deal with a Mary Sue, to help and untangle an implausible crossover, or to slash a slasher.
As for rare fandoms, it actually is a sub-department in DMS - [CLICK]
