Firemagic and I have finally finished the first two chapters of our BBC Sherlock/Nanoha crossover, and we're looking for beta readers and Britpickers who know one or both of those fandoms.

Anyhoo, the third installment of the (Un)Intelligence series is ready for beta-reading! Two or three beta-readers should be able to cover this: it's five-ish pages in GDocs and clocks in at a little over 2000 words. Since my access to the internet is somewhat restricted right now, I might not answer your emails right away.

I mastered the art of anime cramming in my weaboo phase, so I can get a semi-comprehensive grasp of Nonoha soon enough, and I enjoy BBC Sherlock. I am also an okay Britpicker; however, that's usually Lily's area, and if she doesn't catch it I am not likely to.

There are 52 episodes, from three seasons (Original = 13 episodes, A's = 13 episode, StrikerS = 26 episodes), two movie adaptations (that are canonically movies in the anime-verse, propaganda-ish films that the main characters actually helped with), two ongoing mangas, two video games... Yeah, it's a big franchise.

This fic takes place in the six-year timeskip between A's and StrikerS, so you don't really need to do much more than watch the anime.

I know neither of those fandoms, have a tendancy to miss grammar mistakes, and have no been around long enough to build up any reputation other than, "He's fun, but can't spell too well."

HOWEVER

I am a story critic, that is what drew me into the PPC in the first plase. You lot get angry over grammar I might not catch, but I can rant and rave on a story's quality much sooner. If I see a fic has a promasing story with bad grammar and structuraly poor writing, I will be far more likly to help. However, throw in too many memes, plot holes or mary sues, and I will rip into a story relentlessly. Even if it is original. (end rant)

Perhaps a person who can look at the fic with a completely open mind to check for plot holes or confusing aspects of the story would be helpfull, to check for holes in a reader's ability to understand. Afterall, don't want a Nahona fan who knows next to nothing about Sherlock, vice versa, or a fan who has thus far only seen some episodes to be completely out in the blue.

Still, if you don't think I am the kind of editor you are looking for, that's completely understandable. Just extending the offer.
