Since we get terrorist attacks every other day here, now. It's a bit clichéd, but: my heart goes out to those terrified Parisians. Poor people.

I do not do this often, but I would ask that you guys keep the people of Paris in your thoughts and prayers. I have family living there, they are fine, but still leaves me a bit worried. Thanks.
It's definitely a sobering thing.
One of my cousins on my dad's side used to ride one of the lines of the underground in London that got attacked a few years back; it was only complete luck that had him not commuting that morning.
As for this attack...
This won't stop. They have no interest in being reasoned with. The goal is true terrorism- to create and sustain an environment of fear.
All any of us can do is to not let it stop us from living, where ever we are, and to continue doing what we do. To do otherwise lets them know they are succeeding at creating a world of fear.
Instead of prayers and thoughts, I'll make sure to stand a proper watch.

Yes, you're in another country's Navy, but still: you took as your own job to fight to protect. That's commendable.
That was horrifying, specially since it hasn't been that long since the attack on Charlie Hebdo happened. I definitely shall pray for their safety and for those who lost someone in this horrible tragedy.
The French have been America's strongest allies, from the very inception of our country. They have proven time again that they are a strong, resilient, brilliant people. They have been at our backs, and us, theirs. This does not change tonight. I will pray tonight for the people who have lost their lives, and to their families. This was a heinous attack, but we will move forward.
Aujourd'hui nous sommes tous français.
Today, we are all French.
At least what the Sky New Livestream says. Two attackers from the concert hall are dead. I won't get policitcal or religious now, because it's not the time nor place. All I can do is to send my deepest regards (I hope it's the correct word!) to the relatives of the victims.
Apparently 'people' (honestly, nobody who does things like that is a human to me) responsible for the Paris attacks stated that the capitals of Italy and the UK are next on their list. I don't know how reliable this information is, but I hope y'all be careful.
Can people maybe, like, not kill each other for a while? That'd be great, thanks.

My little brother studies at SciencesPo here. He's fine as well, but I hope I won't never get caught in this sort of mess.
