I appreciate it, really, but I wouldn't feel good about it myself!

Recently, Undertale has taken the internet by storm, with almost every streamer and lets player showcasing the game, and people everywhere insisting that you play it. A fun, rpg ish, bullet hell ish, old school style game that has no real comparison other then Earthbound and Mother 3, it is full of charm and emotion as you delve deeper into thee underground.
I have been playing the heck out of this game and loving every moment of it. Have you been playing it? If so, let's talk about it. If not, just get it, play through a bit, and come back. It's 10 bucks on steam, trust me, you will like it. I know you will. It is not just a game, it is an experience, and I do not say that lightly.
(Also, it's how I stave off my wait for Fallout 4. Amazon, just ship the darn Pip Boy Edition already!)
I've finished the entire game EXCEPT for the final boss battle in the no mercy run. I've sort of given up on that run, but I will still (occasionally) try to beat it!
Pacifist all the way.
My favourite part about the game is by far the OST. There's a lot of good tunes in there: Fallen Down, ASGORE, and Hopes and Dreams stand out in particular. If you're also looking for another good game for 10$, try out FTL: Faster than Light. It's a really fun game and the OST is yet again phenomenal.
the OST is out of this world.
*cough*
But, yes. Seconding that recommendation. FTL is stellar.
I'm done now, I promise.
What's your favourite ship? I tend to fly either the Kestrel-B or the Fed. Cruiser-A.
But I'm partial to the Zoltan Cruiser Type A, myself. That shield and starting Halberd beam are just too attractive to pass up.
This game has stolen my life, broken my heart and ruined nearly every other video game for me.
I love it to bits.
What have you done so far? I've gotten the Pacifist Ending twice now, among others. I intend to do a third and final run sometime in the future, after I have cleansed myself of my sins. But for right now my heart just can't take it.
Can I just put a general spoiler warning here? Anything we talk about hence-forth may have spoilers.
Flowey slaughtered me time and time again. I never was good at bullet hell, but this was just unfair! If I were not so "good," I would have ripped the darn flower out from the roots!
Turns out I forgot to do some stuff with Undyne. Forgive my hesitation to willingly enter the house of the woman who tried to stab me with many spears. So, I have that to do, along with just general exploring.
Who is your favorite of the main characters? I think I have to go with Sans. What with his time-travel knolage of what's going on, being just the perfect brother, and overall hilarious. I'm a sucker for puns.
Torie-
No, Alphy-
... Hm.
Papyrus...?
Is "everyone" an acceptable answer? I can't pick a favorite, they're all my friends. By the end of my Pacifist run, I'd fallen in love with every one of them.
That Flowey battle... goodness, that was something. After what he did before you fight him, I really really wanted to hurt him. I somehow miraculously managed to win that fight without dying. Even so, choosing to spare him afterward was a really hard decision. I'd never hated a video game character more than I did then.
By the way, you will not regret that visit. Undyne is good people.
(I think maybe there should be a spoiler warning post over this entire thread. This game is really hard to discuss without something.)
I followed the entirety of Game Grumps' LP of this game from start to finish, including both the neutral and pacifist endings. This is one of those games that really makes you think before you act rather than just level-grinding your way through every random encounter (and if you do the latter... be prepared to question your choices in life). The characters are also lovable in all their own ways even though not a single one of them is human. Mettaton EX is my husbando, sure, but my favorite character in the entire game has to be Alphys. She's such an adorkable little dinosaur scientist who actually goes out of her way to try and make friends with you, despite, well... I won't tell, because SPOILERS. ;)
Also, this: http://purplemew.tumblr.com/post/130796302336
but I have been following JackSepticEye's run of it which is absolutely hilarious! Especially the voice he chose for Papyrus which is basically Skeletor ("Nyeeeh!").
I am not usually one to insist this, but stop watching and play for yourself. This game throws such loops and twists, that you just wont get with a lets play. Not properly, anyway. I don't want to say much (though you probably already know) but I will say this. The game is a program on a computer. And it knows that. And it uses that to play with all kinds of conventions and expectations. Watching after playing? More then fine, that's what I have been doing myself. Steam Train did a fantastic look at it, as has Dodger. But, for you and everyone else, do please pick it up. At very least to support Toby. $10. Not all that much for as much content and joy the game will provide.
Man, I feel like an elitist jerk for saying that, but I feel it needs to be said. It's just... very good. Really.
Until you consider that, due to the exchange rates, I have to pay thrice as much. So $10 for me turns into 30 PLN. And as a 'poor college kid' I'm currently on a game-buying rehab.
You have steam, right? I'll gift you a copy. Do you want it sent directly to the steam account, or just a key with e-mail?
I appreciate it, really, but I wouldn't feel good about it myself!
Think of it like a Christmas present. Or something. Whatever it is, it's a gift. One that I am happy to give. Think nothing of it, really. So, how do I get it to you?
I love Undertale so much. It's just a really good game with good characters.
I also love how the fandom decided on a seperate tag for nsfw art of the game. That is just a really good idea and something other fandoms should think about.
Also I wonder have you seen the video, where a mom calls an ultra conservative webshow thing asking about a picture of Sans?
I love those little dog... cat... things. I want to hug them, give them little belly rubs. Shame I'm allergic. Apparently.
Still, look at her!
Precious. Yes, I will pay for colleg. Here, have some dog residue. All 1000 residues I have. Yes.
