Who officiates? by

Well you could go the fully secular route, and just get a legal official. Why not get someone from the Legal Department to do it?

The Notary is the funniest option.
Seriously, I can see Kala thinking "HER!? No, not her, why her, Valon what the hell were you THINKING... wow, Valon looks handsome up there..." -

I have no idea how marriage works in the PPC.
And I found a tense shift:
He gets up from his stool with the bottle of rum.
Should be "got".

Love is such a wonderful thing.
I hope I'll have characters suffficently concrete for participation in December.
The question about who will office would sure be funny, I mean, will this marriage be valid for the characters' universes too if a Flower was dragged in for this ? Morever, how girtablilus plan their weddings ?
But hey, these questions wouldn't be asked if Valon and Kala didn't really cared for each other, it's so sweet for them.
P.S. : I found this on the web this summer. Out of curiosity, does anyone happen to know where this come from ? -

Ask any old person. =]
Anyways, I'm really looking forward to it, especially since the Notary will likely have progressed further along her arc by this point, in a way that will be in keeping with the PPC's general aesthetic and mood.
Promise. =] -

Yeah that was quite the surprise when I found this out. However it was not exactly in plain sight on the web, I only found it because I did a search with Aviator's Gallifreyan name for the hell of it.
Sorry for ruining the surprise Voyd -

Next time you happen to find things of a spoilery nature on the interwebs, please don't post them for the entire Board to see.

Who could possibly officiate... by

((Ficlet response))
"No."
She had prepared for this.
"Absolutely not. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes. Why would you possibly consider me suited for this? I have only ever conversed with the two once, and it resulted in six per cent third degree burns. There has to be a better candidate. Indeed, human, the first question is how a damned clown got onto the guest list."
"You could do a Gallifreyan ceremony... and, uh, 'cause it's a CHE, you can get a grant from the A/V Division's arts funding program. I think. Maybe?"
"..." The Notary thought as quickly as she could, which was surprisingly fast for those who had only been on the receiving end of her mule-headed obstinacy. She began muttering under her breath, to her partner's confusion and sense of impending doom.
"Uh, you okay there?"
"... carry the two, take out the cake fund..."
This continued for several minutes.
"Human, the unthinkable has happened. You have swayed me."
"YAAAAAAAAAY!"
"I may retract this statement if you continue to bellow at me."
"Duly noted." Then Wobbles sniggered.
"Was something funny?"
"Well, you're the Notary, and I said 'duly noted', so-"
"A simple no would have been sufficient." -
Very late in asking, but what's a CHE? (nm) by

I considered spelling it out, but people talk in acronyms when the other person knows what they mean, and quite often when they don't as well. I did, however, mean to put it in a footnote. I forgot. Derpgrace gonna derp.

It's actually one specific person, and that person is the Notary working on a plan. Don't worry, she's not going to deliberately screw the happy couple over.
Probably.
Also Kala's face when this happens oh my actual God. =]
