Just asking but if a word that appears in a fanfic postdates the setting of the story, is that a charge? I am not asking for permission.

As in, if someone in a Skyrim fic says 'dude' or 'sup' then, yes, it is a charge. Although, the thought of a guard saying 'sup, brah' is just so funny I might let it slide. Might.

Sorry, had trouble parsing the question- did you mean that a word was used in a fanfic that doesn't appear in the actual canon until after when the fanfic was set? In which case yeah, I'd say that'd be a charge; probably something to do with continuity or something :0
