If so, what were they and what was the PPC's response?
From a little while back - the fic itself was taken down by the author shortly after is was posted, but some excerpts exist in the comments. And those same comments show what the response was at the time.
If it were to happen again I assume that the PPC's response would probably be along the lines of 'don't really care / what a funny troll'.

It took me until now to figure out where I'd filed it, but I've put it up on Google for people to look at.
The Eight Gates (anti-PPC story)
The other anti-PPC story I'm aware of is the very old, very good, and sadly unfinished Ashes to Glory (which will be up at that link within the hour). It was written by a member of the PPC, but we don't know which one. :-/ It was really interesting, though.

Specifically, that link is giving a 404 error. From what you wrote I was assuming that 'The Eight Gates' could be found at that link, and the 'Ashes to Glory' would be available soon. Did I misunderstand that? Because the Ashes link works fine, but Seven Doors Eight Gates doesn't.
I do like the Ashes to Glory story, and would have linked to first, but I couldn't get the wayback machine to find it for me. I'm glad it's been archived though, it's an interesting take on the PPC universe.

Let's do this the other way.
(Ashes was the one I didn't have archived at the time; it only took five minutes to get up, though.)

Oooooh, thanks! So, uh, which mission was this written in response to?
Also, have any agents ever participated in missions that took pace in their home continua?
Since Herr Wozzeck mentioned that it was his first mission and that Florestan recruited Zerenze there, it must be this, although its author apparently changed their name.
Barid and Brightbeard from World of Warcraft went on Missions in the World of Warcraft.
James Vulpes and Saxo Cruore were rescued from a Harry Potter x Labyrinth crossover and went on a mission in another Harry Potter x Labyrinth crossover.
Also, many Tolkien elves, like Dafydd Illian, on missions in Lord of the Rings.
I’m sure there are more.

Agents from canon universes are often called in to sort out badfic from that universe. They know what's wrong and can provide expertise in the canon.
Agents from specific badfics are a lot rarer, but I'm sure it happened at some point. =]
Did someone say... Blarg? (spoilers for Ratchet & Clank.)
And I posted in the thread.
Y'know, I think I know what the culprit might be, and I am perfectly fine with my memory continuing to rot because of it.
But I was pretty sure I involved one of Herr Wozzeck's missions, so I just searched for the names of his agents. Fortunately it was recent enough that it hadn't (quite) dropped off into the electronic abyss. I wouldn't have bothered to check the archives.
Also, I can't read your subject line without thinking of Gandalf in the mines of Moria 'I have no memory of this place...'.

I think I distinctly remember at least one being written around two, three years ago.
...and it is laughably bad. They thought they would spork us, but they didn't actually know anything about us.
Don't know where it is, though. Sorry.

But only that. Mainly, I'm remembering the bit where someone plagiarized TOS and ACMESES and we found out and reported it and all. There's even a doc with a ton of charges written up in the comments; I found it a bit ago. Apparently, I was going to do something with it, I expect as a cowrite.
But yeah, no clue where to find this badly-done sporking of the PPC. Which is a pity, because it sounds funny.

The PPC is partly quarantined--that's what Permission is for. PPC fics written without permission just bounce off our creativity shield harmlessly.
My curiousity is at its peak. Or should that be [pique]?
Why, yes! hS has done a comic called Generic Surface, which is probably linked through the wiki (try Agent Louise's page) and is certainly linked through his webplex. There's even a PPC game, which I'm pretty sure can also be found on his website. Come to think of it, he's even made a video or two as Agent Dafydd--funny, that, he's rather done everything, hasn't he? :)
Apart from hS, I'm not sure, though I expect some other things exist. There's certainly a lot of fanart, and even the Playscriptes, which have been recorded. Not to mention the Multiverse Monitor...
In short: we are indeed a multi-media community! :D

Hm. Well, I know there's been discussion about it, but I think it's generally been left along because you'd have to draw the comic reactions or video the video...or else insert bits of the fancomics/vids somehow and get really creative with the mission structure. Or else just describe the comic or vid really well, which sounds annoying and rather boring; I've also seen sporkings on other comms of fancomics that used...must've been screenshots, or something, and then prose reacting to it. Not sure if any PPC missions exist to them, though.
I've certainly been thinking for quite a while of missioning a Quotev quiz, though. Just haven't found one bad enough. I'm...not entirely sure how I was thinking of going about it, unfortunately, but I know it involved an agent taking the quiz and pointing out what was wrong...s'pose they could whack the screen afterwards? Or be on-scene and selecting options that are hanging in the air in front of them? It could work.

Doing this for kicks, that is.
At some point. Probably long after you've forgotten about it. But it will happen... probably...once I find time and a good candidate.

Well, what about this, creatively named "Which boy would you date from my school" using terrible (do we have a ppc version of the s-word?)jpegs of the author's friends and quickly switches to anime characters about halfway through. Typos and grammar errors abound.
Or, if you want a classic case of celebrity stalker-ism TWOO WUV, you could do One direction boyfriend!-random-asterisk. (punctuation written out for clarification.)She also gives you a bizzare story about how you hook up with your new one direction boyfriend and more bad jpegs! And she borders on wearing underpants on her head, too.
That was the most html I've ever done in a board post.
I see, I see. But have any been written?
The laws of probability confirm it. However, if you'd want to find it, you'd be out of luck there. I've had this question myself and gone looking, to no avail. None of my... business associates could find any either. But, it is a mathematical certainty that they do exist.
I think maybe, at some point, someone might have. But it wasn't remarkable enough for me to recall it, and I've read pretty much everything PPC, so it probably wasn't a big deal.
I know someone flamed Jay and Acacia, as it's in the original series, but I don't think that was a hatefic. And then there was the big "you're anti-feminist" thing, which is about as ridiculous an accusation as it gets, IMO, considering the PPC does a lot of standing up against the wilting-flower Sue who gets rescued by her strong and handsome LO...
Anyways, yeah, I think it might've happened; I have a vague idea that it has. It probably wasn't well-done enough, or didn't generate enough discussion, to stick around long enough for me to encounter it sometime during the last four or five years.
There's "Suedom"; it does have Jay and Acacia as villains, but I don't think that counts as a hatefic because it's well-written (albeit unfinished) and just doesn't have the "hate" part of hatefic in it. It's more of a different perspective on the PPC-versus-Sue situation; after all, Sues are living creatures in their own, odd, eldritch-abomination way.
