Oh Valar, what have you done to me?
Originally I was just going to email this to only hS, but then I realized that a) it would catch his attention better on the board anyways and b) everyone could get a laugh out of it.
For those of you who aren't interested in parenting, however...
You are a shark in a strange blue sea.
Feel free to share other ridiculous things that've popped up through the internet that you've found, or think are funny. ;)
-July, with a shark army
That would be hilarious.
Since you know me, you can guess that I'm somewhere between Backseat Parenting and Ironic Hipster Parenting. Though some days I feel inclined to Paleo Parenting...
(Kaitlyn says she does French Parenting, but there's never enough wine...)

And.
Sharks.
What have you unleashed upon me?
(I have 1.48 megasharks, and 288 gigafish... has my life gone wrong or right?)

Oh Celestia, it's cookie clicker for sharks. Thank you. This is the best.
I do kinda hope it could be updated to have cookie clicker like graphics. This game does not give you the same feeling of accomplishment these kind of games desperately need. When progression is your only mechanic, you need to have that progression feel good. Make it an accomplishment of its own to add another shark to your school. Each and every grandma in cookie clicker gives you a strong sense of acomplishment just by enslaving hiring one. Short of that, this is a solid clicker game, that I am interested to see where it goes.
Oh Valar, what have you done to me?
But you do get very much a sense of accomplishment because of the end sequences.
Nonsense! This game has lots of mechanics. I can't even count the number of different buttons available to click on. They've sullied pure progression with their 'interactivity'.
You should play Progress Quest instead.

"You are a shark in a dark mysterious sea.
The chimaeras are ancient kin of the shark kind, reunited through wild coincidence.
What peerless wonders have they found in the dark?"
The French parenting bit reminded me of this: have a Mental Omega.
... involved Lion Parenting.
Granted, there were no actual wildebeests, but things did go pretty abruptly to wrack and ruin for a while there. Unlike Simba, though, nobody tricked me into thinking it was my fault; there are just external forces of crappiness that can gang up on you no matter what you do. Thus, my life was ruined with an odd combination of self-esteem plus anxiety, high personal standards plus lack of ambition. Life is weird, y'all.
There was also Philosophical Parenting, but I'm pretty sure everyone gets a bit of that. {= )

"You are a shark in a dark mysterious sea.
The whale song fills you with the same feeling as the gates. But so much smaller."
But I digress.
Strange/funny things found on the internet? Well, probably everyone has heard of this one, but... I present to you: QWOP.
I have only ever seen one person beat this game before: my brother, who ended up plowing right over the fifty-meter hurdle and dragged it behind him to the finish line.
