Then could I be one at Des's Fire-type Gym?
Lazygrace am lazy, but here's Voyd's Ice-type Gym. Enjoy!
---
The Gym:
It's full of monsters! And not of the pocket variety, either! Well, that's a bit of a misnomer; the enormous ice palace, modelled after a traditional shrine high in the mountains, is a place of pilgrimage for Pokemon and their fans alike. The cold mountain air is soothing and refreshing, and the gym itself is very sedate, a place to be with the Pokémon you love. Leader Voyd doesn't take battling very seriously unless he has to, preferring instead to train his team through gentle nurture and unshakeable friendship. Just don't let him near Arbok. They, er, they like him a little too much.

The Phat Lewts:
The Gennep badge is a reference, I promise. To what would spoil the surprise. However, your other prize is TM79 Frost Breath, one that only refers to you having had a lovely time in the cold mountain air, and Leader Voyd's hope that you come back again some time.
How come I don't have a Froslass? There is a yuki-onna in MonMusu, after all.
I don't actually care about it.
I'd request it to be on my team in a heartbeat.
Although that "Persian" looks more like a Siamese cat to me. But never mind. Cats!!!!
Or the Water-type Gym, if there is one?
E-mail me, please, when you have the chance.
Please also check the email I sent when you have the time.
Your team (in the postgame):-

Yeah, Gym trainers are gonna get three because, well, because I'm lazy.
Then could I be one at Des's Fire-type Gym?
...did you think there wouldn't be a water-type Gym?It's totally not a ripoff of Discworld, no, what are you talking about
...then you are more than welcome to pal around with me in the jungle riding flying prehistoric Pokémon!
(Also, have you received my email?)
still waiting on my Flying-type gym btw
To those who have agents, missions, plans for missions, etc... If you could create a Pokemon team based on the agents you have so far (can be fewer than six), which Pokemon would you choose to represent each of your agents and why?
Falchion would be a Skarmory of course, Rashida would probably be a Persian (too bad it doesn't get Future Sight), Ripper would be an Archeops because feathered dinosaurs, and then among the other of my RCs I'd go with Cupid as a Togekiss, Sarah as a Staraptor, and maaaaaybe E.V.L. as a Mismagius.
Miscellaneous choices would be Rayner the Zebstrika (pity it's got sucky stats), Lapis the Horsea (or maybe a Lapras, or even a Sharpedo? IDK), Salvo the Electrode, Feratu the Crobat, and of course, Brenda the Rapidash.
Heh. All but two of my choices are Flying-type, but type coverage be damned. They all seemed appropriate enough.
Right here.
And I did check it out just now. Color me pleasantly surprised indeed - though I honestly thought Scape would’ve gone for Aerodactyl for the Mega, not just out of favoritism but also to tie into fit the prehistoric theme.
I... fail to get the badge's reference, sadly.
However... is the thing about Arbok a MonMusu reference? If so you picked the wrong species my favorite member of the harem is Suu
The badge reference is that the founder of the idea of liminality of experience in history was Arnold van Gennep, though the cause was more enthusiastically taken up by Victor Turner, who I've been studying as part of my degree. As for the Arbok thing, that was more a reference to the main character of the show's, er, interesting dynamic with his impromptu serpentine roommate. There are other ones in there, scattered throughout; the emphasis on Japanese culture (mountain shrines being rather common in Shinto and Buddhist traditions) and the idea of being very good friends with your team being a less explicit version of the show's central harem comedy dynamic.
