1) That people try to sexualize dragons in the first place. Honestly, biology is what, freshman year of high school? Also, Tolkein dragons are not nice. I mean, you could possibly have an excuse in Earthsea, where they can take human form if they want to...
2) Can you imagine a dragon in Hobbiton? I was actually just reading the Hobbit (again, my mother is using it for her class' English assignment and keeps asking me which dwarf is which,) and a very loose paraphrasis of one of the lines where Bilbo almost decides not to go adventuring basically reads as "he thought of dragons arriving in Hobbiton," and it wasn't a good thing.
3) How haven't I been reading this? Sherloaf Holmes indeed! (I've always been tempted to try writing the Red Leech or the Politician, the Trained Cormorant and the Aluminum Cruch myself - seriously, there's so much room in this fandom for OC's if they're clients...) Also, I like the idea of people attending multiple fandom universities. I mean, it's kind of sad if you assume that people just don't learn their lesson, but on the other hand, I'd attend several of them on purpose if I could. (I do have some distinct advantages - since I don't drool over anyone I wouldn't get mauled quite so frequently. :) )
4) You know, your OFUM feeds its students way better than my university does. (Even if Sherlock and John are like college students in that they live on takeout and whatever has taken up residence in the fridge...)
5) Damn. Now I want to write an Earthsea crossover where Sherlock is able to deduce the true names of things. Very, very useful for a wizard, but on the other hand, they'd both need use-names and I'm terrible at those... I could name Sherlock "Hemlock" or something, but that seems like it would be way too predictable. No clue what John would be yet, besides there and taking it all in stride. :)

It was a great idea to have Smaug and Bilbo drop in. Not only because it made for genuinely funny scenes, but also because it helps to give a feeling of connection between the different OFUs.
On one hand I hope you will be doing more, but on the other hand it was such a great lecture and really set the rules for any kind of crossover, so I understand if this is the only one.
And now I want Superwholockvengers goodfic ...
