(To all those of you who have no idea what I mean: Nicksmas is a semi-unofficial fireworks competition I attend on the Fourth and it has so many massive explosions. It's great.)

So... there was an accident at Nicksmas. One of the launchers tipped over and started firing on us.
Nobody died, only a few of us were hit, but doing things with one hand and two feet wasn't very fun. I'm thankful for my habit of wearing long, heavy coats at inappropriate times, or I'd have a lot more than a lump on my arm to deal with.
(They were very sexist fireworks, too. Only women got hit. >:( )
