Well, hi, I guess. This is my first post, after all. So, well, that's really it. And also, I apparently decided to write this like I'm actually saying it.
...since you've managed to show up here, I'll give you a chance. TuT
Anyway, nice to meet you. I'm Twistey, an amateur game developer/artist/musician/writer/ham radio operator/etc. Uh... I don't have much else to say. Welcome to the PPC!

You can start giving welcome gifts of any sort the very day you show up on the Board, if you feel like it. I mean, don't give things that are in poor taste, but if we've ever had that happen it was before I joined (which I did about four years ago), so don't worry about that too much. People give all sorts of things, too--I've given bleep candies, Skarmory gives spikes (which I keep picturing as metal feathers? Not sure if that's how he means it), Sue objects are popular (and frequently invented on the spot rather than actually picked up from a badfic as an agent might do), and I remember getting a tribble when I joined, so you've also got canon objects. There's quite a range. Go wild, find your thing--have fun.

...I'm going to start giving newbies their choice of souvenirs from both the iD Software 'verse, other obscure 'verses, and my own created universes.
Since Blue Pearl doesn't seem to be the type for first person shooters, and I don't have a Wattpad account yet so explanations of what stuff is in my universes aren't readily accessible, I guess I'll just give a backup gift.
Here, have your own pet history textbook. I haven't house trained him yet, and those teeth on his edges are a bit sharp, so... uh... good luck.

Either way, for your Newbie Gift, have a full set of roleplaying dice! Usually, I give them some boring theme like "space" or "chocolates", but yours are all carved from gemstones! Enjoy your murder dice.
