Charlotte is a Meyerpire. However, I don't think she'd end up being accepted.
My theory is that you are inviting people who are 'hybrids', with a 'robot-X' being an accepted variant. With that in mind, I put forth Percy Jackson.
Hullo! If you were here earlier this fine morning, you will have seen Huinesoron’s guessing game! I enjoyed it so much that I asked for permission to host one, and he agreed! I was going to wait for a day, but I got too excited (insert sheepish grin here).
Le Rules of Play:
There’s a theme to the people I will allow into the club meeting, and your job is to figure it out! All you must do is reply to this thread with “Can I Invite [X]” (for example, can I invite Joker). Specifying what movie/comic book trilogy/series they are from is helpful, and please make it someone I can look up easily (you’re welcome to make a short description of your character if you like, it would be incredibly helpful to me)!
Once you have done that, I will reply with either a “Yes, they can come” or a “No, but you may bring” and name another character that fits the theme. Keep in mind it may not be from the same series/book/show/etc.
If you think that you have the answer, name a character you think fits the theme and tell me why (i.e. "Darth Vader fits the theme because he has scars" /OR/ "I’m guessing Darth Vader will fit the theme. Must all the allowed characters have scars to join in?" Remember, these are just examples.) Be sure to put this guess behind a spoiler block! Here is the example that Huinesoron used:

Feel free to make it longer if you wish, just make sure that it’s fairly large!
Your character guess does not have to be accompanied by a theory. You can guess characters solely to gather information and clues on the theme.
When a few people have gotten the theme right, I will give the answer. :3
You may invite a character from any canon (avoid real people). If there may be doubt as to which canon your character comes from (i.e. LEGO Batman Joker and the Dark Knight Rises Joker) just be sure to clarify for me!
The Long John Silver mentioned in the title of this thread is from Treasure Planet, not Treasure Island. Just so you all know.

People have guessed it right, and those of you who were still trying to figure it out were definitely on the right track!
The theme was hybrids (i.e. Hagrid who is half giant, Percy Jackson who is a demigod, Sendak who was part Galra part machine)!
You all did great, and it was fun to get to host this! Well done everyone!
It crossed my mind, but I ruled it out because I was thinking "hybrid" in terms of mixed races or mixed parts of roughly equal portions. I'm not too sure how you're defining it to include the likes of Luke and G'Kar, but not Seamus, whose entire body is made of wood. O.o

I got "cybernetic beings" and then started focusing on hands, even after seeing someone mentioned hybrids.
I guess that most of the Plumber's kids from http://ben10.wikia.com/wiki/Ben10:Alien_Force could come, but Ben himself is a question because he presents as pure human despite having an alien grandmother. Gwen, his cousin, does take after her grandmother.
