Right, I've spoken with Huinesoron, and while I can't host these games, I am going to be running another round in the autumn. I'll have more closer to the time, but I'm honoured to have the chance to host a community event such as this.
It apparently chooses Tributes for the next PPC Hunger Games. I would like to return it to their rightful owner, perhaps to use them for a new Hunger Games?
I guess I'm hosting; I'll work on that arena and start (probably with qualifiers) on Monday.

While we wait for someone to volunteer to host this it's going to be me again isn't it?, this might be a good time to start the signups for Tributes.
I think my rules from last time were fairly uncontroversial: you can volunteer up to four of your own agents (ie, those for whom the writing rights are currently held by you), plus you can suggest as many of our NPC characters as you like, which can be used by the host to fill any gaps in the lineup.
The PPC Hunger Games run through this website, which takes the Tributes and shoves them through a brutal RNG until only one of them is still alive. In-universe, it's all taking place in a large holodeck - your agents will suffer, but take no lasting harm.
Last time I said Permission was required; this time I think we can dispense with that requirement, despite the broadcast being canonical. Consider it a weird sort of cowrite.
We've traditionally had pre-Games interviews with the tributes (just a quick spiel from them about why they're here), which are helpful for the host to get them in character; this would be a good time to write those, too.

(For the record, we currently have 53 Tributes. We need at least 60 to play. I've got Lux and holographic Jay and Acacia tentatively listed already, but they're not fixed in stone.)

Marina isn't coming close to the staff of these games any time soon, except if that's for signyfing them their displeasure, and I guess they're not dumb enough to give her a way to track them.
Buut, she could pressure politely ask her partner Richard Legard to go in the arena to get her more physical samples for tracking them. Only downside of the plan for Richard, beyond going through these Games again being missing Persona 5 Western launch the Games themselves.
In addition to the somewhat obvious Lux, I would like to see Agents Sean, Makes-Things, and Techno-Dann as tributes.
Agent Dann (he really is Dann, btw, no Techno-) is pretty much given to the community at this point. He's... really not me any more, and I doubt I'll ever return to writing him as a protagonist.
... but Makes-Things and the Witness (good grief) can definitely go in.
I don't know about Sean. So far as I know, the only person to even mention him since TOS ended is me, and that was retrospective. Would it be right to throw him in without intending to make full use of him?

Hey, why not? I haven't had a good brawl since I left Coruscant. Champion of law and order I may be, but even I get days where I just wanna hit someone. And who knows? I might even win.

A battle royale, hm? Could be interesting. Certainly a more intriguing diversion than wandering these accursed grey halls. If nothing else it will be an opportunity to truly test the limits of my magic in this realm.
Because we really should get him and Theo into Rudi's together at some point.

I take it from the reference to the Great Hunt that Theo is from the Great War or thereabouts?
And yes, we should. Though I can't help but wonder how well they'd get along. What with the Mandalorian clans' rocky relationship with the Republic and Larkus' own tense encounters with the GAR.
I volunteer Florestan, Eusabius, Anneli, and Cindy for the PPC Hunger Games! It's been a while since I've written anything for them, you know!
That is, C and Lu do. Well, okay, Steele drugged them and forced them into it. She has since completely revised her appearance. (For once, she does not look completely unusual. She disapproves of looking like a normal human.)
How should I do the interviews?
Oh. I should maybe mention Lu's... physical quirks.
She is seven feet tall with a prehensile tail which serves as a five-and-three-fourths-foot bludgeon. Her tongue is similarly prehensile, and able to extend maybe a foot out of her mouth. She also has three-inch claws instead of fingernails, natural armor on her arms, and a scaled lower body. Lu happens to be very, very, very good with a halberd.
On the other hand, it's not so easy for her to move quickly without her specially-made heels (about three inches high, but with a very specific shape). So without those, she's a lot less effective at staying alive. Feel free to deprive her of these at least once.

Oh, this is going to be fun. I solemnly swear to not hold other Agents for resources - making me a whole lot kinder than most Abyss dwellers, let me tell you. No promises about power usage, though; I didn't mean to come here, and while the convincing process was certainly - enlightening - I don't feel like dying anytime soon.
Or rather, Kur'nak, Barid, Decima and Voltarmi are in. Voltarmi is in Gnome form, of course, and promises not to transform back to Dragon for the duration.

I'm gonna toss one of my eventual agents into the mix. Evelyn Portia Juliana. She's a sister of battle, but without her armor or bolter, the she's only human.

(I'm volunteering only three tributes this time around, instead of the four from last time. I'm doing things with my Floaters team that would be spoiled if any of them participated.)

(Because I figured a. a non-Action department member would be neat, b. Suta needed the screentime, and c. A FREAKING TYRANNOSAURUS REX IN THE TOURNEY. HOW COOL WOULD THAT BE?!)

Rhysaria and Rhyslea, a blood elf paladin and death knight respectively, identical twins, and partners in the DIA Patrol Division.
Dax, a changeling from D&D, Intelligence worker who gets along very with Jacques Bonnefoy and Luxury, if you know what I mean.
I assume this means Zeb isn't dragging Ave into the arena by force? ;)
Also, are you suggesting Lux (and Jacques? I don't remember if that's an NPC or not) for inclusion?

Ave's staying out of this one, but she'll be cheering Zeb on from the sidelines. The last few years she was kinda pressured into playing, but she's got a kid to look after now...
Jacques (Jack Harkness replacement) is one of Zing's characters; I was including him and Lux as rough outlines of Dax's general personality. Lux as a tribute again would be great, though... :P

And then I told him that I was in WhatThe. And then we watched the Percy Jackson movie on the big screen and that's why I want to hurt people now!

I think I'll give my regular cast a break this time, but for lulz, I'll throw in Shimon and Caprice, who are respectively a male Nosgothic vampire of the Razielim clan and a female 20-something human of the pretty-average clan. If you have no idea who the heck these people are, that's because they've only appeared in this prompt piece, which I wrote on a dare as a challenge and posted anonymously to see what would happen. {= )

Don't get between this girl and her coffee. I have no idea what color her eyes are supposed to be, but I like it! I have a notion she's half Latina. Dunno, though; I'll have to play around with her a bit more.

Neither one of these is totally perfect. He lacks black fingernails in both. The anime one lacks a nice deep blue skin tone and appropriately fussy glasses, the ears are too short, and he shouldn't actually have slit pupils, IIRC. The fantasy one lacks wings(?!?), the mouth is too full (though the black color is good), and the face shape is too wide.
Between the two, though, there's a half-decent notion of how he ought to look.
Oh, also, meet Rinmaru Games' Mega Fantasy Avatar Creator! There are some pretty sweet options in there, but unfortunately, it's fairly useless if you want to make a buff, masculine-looking dude. Lucky for me, Shimon is not one of those. At all.

It seems like an excellent exercise in the stealth required on the majority of missions. I also need to keep an eye on my partner. I heard about what these Games did to some of the participants in the last round, and I believe it would be best if that did not happen to him. ... Admittedly, there may be a slight inclination on my part to demonstrate the worth of knowledge as a tool on the field of combat. However, if there is, it is my tertiary concern.
((If Apecian gets blown up or skewered or something day one, I am absolutely blaming it on him forgetting that he only has one death in these games.))

Funny story - I was talking to Undis Closed the other day about the second series of Ardolindi, and he just happened to mention that a new season of the Hunger Games was in the works. And then he just happened to mention that he wanted me to be in it again. And then he just happened to insist. So here I am.

Have you read the reports from Season 3 and Season 4? And have you seen the website we've been using? I don't have the link to hand; it's somewhere in the archives.

I'll host if no-one else wants to, but if someone does, go for it! I know I had a lot of fun, and I'm sure Sergio and Iximaz did for #3 and #2. It is a fair amount of work, though.
If someone else does want to pick up the mike, I'll offer to put together a custom arena along the lines of last season's (which was in HQ - obviously we're not going back there, right?). I'll consult with whoever does it to try and transform their ideas into a working setup.
